Tanny, not long to go. Hope your mw can reassure you.
longest, glad you're OK from the car shunt! Hope you get some answers re gd.
Flen, fx for you.
cloud, I can't remember whether your af came or you just thought it was on the way... hope the MRI turns up something helpful.
Sebs, hope you're OK? Please keep posting if you want/need to.
Freckle, like the diet tips. No gd here but good to see some ideas for healthy snacks. I have been grabbing something from the school canteen mid morning, but its usually bagel and cheese, and probably not too healthy. Hummus and oat crackers could be q healthy alternative.
DH off skiing for a week Sad I don't begrudge him but prefer when he's here. 24 weeks on Wednesday. Yikes!

bakingtins · 28/02/2015 07:48

bear sorry if I gave the wrong impression. There is no such thing as TMI or too upsetting to say here, I just felt for you being ambushed by it unexpectedly.

longest glad you are all ok, hope you are not too shaken up by it. The GD thing is a pain but hope you get good support managing it.

tanny did you get back to sleep ok? This final bit is tough emotionally, hope you don't have to wait too long.

just I'm awarding you wife of the year for letting DH ski without you.

good luck to those TWWing. cloud if you are out hope that your MRI is useful.

Thanks Baking. He knows he won't get another holiday like this for a few years to come... Smile

Lovemylittlebear · 28/02/2015 09:10

Phew I'm glad. Xx

tannyLoo · 28/02/2015 09:31

I did go back to sleep for a while. Thanks for your support.

I'm generally ok during the day but it comes on in the middle of the night.

Hopefully, I can have a better night tonight...

Purplefrogshoes · 28/02/2015 13:05

Glad faith is doing better baking
Hope your doing ok tanny

seb hope your ok

Glad you ok after car shunt longest

the stress is never ending, went for routine midwife app yesterday and she detected a missed beat so I got sent straight to hospital for monitoring, thankfully everything is fine but I immediately thought this is it, the bad news I was waiting for. Still can't bring myself to buy anything or even sort my maternity leave as I still can't believe it's actually going to happen.

managed to sort things out with my colleague, she has been moved upstairs but we have been emailing

Sorry for not name checking everyone but it's difficult to keep up on my phone

Flower29 · 28/02/2015 14:44

Oh poor purple that must have been a horrible scare. Glad everything is ok though. How many weeks are you now?

Flower29 · 28/02/2015 14:47

tanny sorry you're having night time anxiety. It's really not long to go now. I do hope it's sooner rather than later for you though. Do you know what you're having? I think she's a girl for some reason but can't recall you saying...

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 28/02/2015 14:47

Purple that sounds scary, glad it's all ok.

I did a test today, and got a very very faint BFP on a FRER . So have taken an aspirin today. I can't think about it ending in a live baby yet, but I am keeping everything crossed that this time with progesterone and aspirin there will still be a baby and be a heartbeat by the 6 week scan. I'm slightly worried though as we had sex on the 15th, and I felt what I have always assumed as implantation start happening late on the 20th, and it was that day I knew I was pregnant as I don't get those physical feelings unless i am pregnant. But today is the 28th, so shouldn't I be getting a stronger BFP?

Flower29 · 28/02/2015 14:52

longest glad you're all ok after the car bump.

littlebear don't worry about offending anyone. I have a similar sense of humour sometimes and when things are so shit it seems like someone's having a big joke at my expense, and the only way to talk about it is to make a bad joke of it. Your beautician sounded like she handled it superbly, bless her.

Flower29 · 28/02/2015 14:57

Congratulations on your BFP loopy.Smile I'd try not to worry about the faintness yet (easy for me to say) as I think they can vary so much at this early stage. What happens next, did you say you're already booked in for 6wk scan?

Marchgirl · 28/02/2015 15:16

Whispered Congratulations loopy! That only makes you about 13 days in, so i think a weak one is fine. Implantation could have happened later than you thought too. It's great that you have a diagnosis and a treatment plan. All the best for an uneventful pregnancy x

Justonemoretime · 28/02/2015 16:03

Purple, what a scare! Glad all ok, though.
Loopy, wishing you an uneventful and boring pregnancy Smile

girliesaints · 28/02/2015 16:30

Loopy- congratulations and try to at least enjoy the BFP today and try to push the worry away for a day at least.

Purple- hope the scare wasn't bad and you're relaxing at home ok x

Marchgirl · 28/02/2015 16:36

Sorry purple, missed that one. Glad everything is ok. It is difficult to ever relax isn't it? Hope there are no more scares x

tannyLoo · 28/02/2015 18:17

Pleased it was just a scare Purple and you're ok. Horrible that we can't relax into it, but it does get a bit easier.

Loopy congratulations on your BFP. Try not to worry and enjoy your body doing its thing. Remember, today you are pregnant!

Purplefrogshoes · 28/02/2015 18:19

Thanks all, I'm 29 weeks flower

Congrats loopy

longestlurkerever · 28/02/2015 19:42

Congratulations loopy. Best of luck. Xxx

cloudjumper · 28/02/2015 19:43

purple and longest Glad that you are OK! What a nightmare time you've both had. Hope you can relax a bit now...

loopy Whispered congrats from me, too! I have also been advised to take aspirin and progesterone from BFP, it's good stuff. Here's to a boring and uneventful pregnancy! I would not pay too much attention to the strength of the line - a line is a line is a line! So many things can influence this.

As for me, 10 DPO today - I caved in and tested - BFN Sad With an internet cheapie, but I doubt it would be any different with an FRER or digital. I will keep testing daily, so I can be absolutely certain when I need to call the hospital on Tuesday to let them know. bummer

tannyLoo · 28/02/2015 19:55

Bummer indeed cloud, but not out yet I hope.

Flen · 28/02/2015 20:07

cloud total bummer. I have had a MASSIVE cry today because of a million things, one of which being fear of BFN. Think I'm going to test tomorrow, will be 11dpo.

My mum was just rubbish earlier, and we had rather a row on the phone; I was tearful and she was extremely impatient with me. She is generally rather robotic at the best of times, but I am struggling with the discrepancy between the support she gives me sister (1 child, currently pregnant) and her support of us post-miscarriages. She has visited my sister three times in the last two months (we all live in different areas of the country), and hasn't visited us at all. I guess it just makes the isolation feel more isolating.

Flower29 · 28/02/2015 20:31

Nearly in the 30s then purple. I hope you have no more scares or upsets and it seems to pass more quickly.

Sorry you're having a difficult time with your mum flen. Hugs to you. I know it's not necessarily the same for you but I do find the older generation seem to have a bit of a 'shrug it off' type of approach and to talk about feelings And 'make someone cry' is a big no no. Even though a talk and a cry is often the best thing.
I know what you mean about being isolated. Hope you feel less so talking to us on here.
Hope you get a BFP tomorrow to make you feel better. X

Brummiegirl15 · 28/02/2015 20:38

Longest really hope you are ok. Must have been a fright.

Same for you Purple - hope rest of your weeks are uneventful.

Cloud that's rubbish, I'm sorry, I know it's so disheartening.

Tanny you are so nearly there. Hope you managed to get a bit of rest today.

Loopy bloody hell you weren't kidding!! You really do need just to DTD once. Congrats though. Keeping everything crossed for you and just as well you got everything from Mr Watts.

Big waves to everyone else.

So AF still hasn't decided to grace me with her presence which is incredibly frustrating.

But the irony is now, AF is taking so long that by time I see Mr Watts next Monday I will it probably be at right time to TTC again (may be fractionally too late, but good chance)

So, because we had an additional forced wait we obviously were looking at Coventry but if we aren't too late by seeing Mr Watts, so we go for it? Or put it off and go to Coventry???

Very confused now and I guess ultimately timings will help me make a decision but what if I get decision TTC or Cov??

Confused
Frecklefire · 28/02/2015 21:10

Hey brummiegirl - saw your post on another thread about peoples ignorant responses to miscarrige and i nearly laughed my head right off. You seem to be cut from the same cloth as me. I particularly liked "fuck off, and when you get there fuck off a bit more". A good comment and well made i feel! X

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 28/02/2015 21:13

Have you had your blood results back Brummie? Presume they requested the same tests as mine?

I'm not an expert but if I have understood correctly, Coventry does a scratch and tests for NK cells? NHS tests for different things. But Mr Watts is pro progesterone and aspirin in my case at least, and I think/hope he will give me heparin after the scan if we make it that far. So I think the only thing Coventry do differently is the prednisole?? If you tests show high NK cells??

So you if nhs tests show something then he is a good man to have on your side. Not sure what he will do if your tests are normal. Whereas Coventry will give you prescriptions irrespective of nhs tests and NK tests? As you are so close to being able to see Coventry, and you have short/ more normal cycles than me, if I was in your shoes I think if the nhs tests came back clear I'd go to Coventry before ttc. Not sure if the tests showed a reason though.
