Information, support, hand holding, tea, sympathy and a hell of a lot of combined knowledge - all welcome as we try to make sense of the RMC roller coaster of tests, NHS admin, heart ache and (hopefully) happy endings!
Please start with a recap of your stats Smile

I'm struggling to keep up with the feed but it seems like we're all feeling axious at the moment then. Sorry if I miss anyone but am always thinking of you all.

Great news March and glad you got on ok Just, phew!!!!!

Barking I totally know how you feel. It's horrible to have the added pressure of not knowing when to test after you've been through treatment. If you can get tomorrow out of the way 1st it would be better but I know that's really hard to do. We'll all be here to support you whenever you decide to take it and I am crossing everything it's good news xxxx

Hugs to you Tanny. It's no wonder you feel this way with all those hormones flying around. I know the last few months have been hard ones for you too. A chat with the midwife sounds like a very good idea and we're all here to listen anytime. Hope you feel better soon xxxx

Can't recall who asked me but I am most certainly not using the 'n' word just yet. Still can't even use the 'b' word! Hopefully that 20 wk scan will help...

Marking my place!

Me 34, DH 35. TTC#1 since May 2009.

Years of tests, operations and BFPs including a suspected early MC after taking clomid in April 2012.

No conception officially achieved until November 2013 when progesterone based treatment was suggested for supsected luteal phase defect.

Confirmed MC#1 in January 2014. Missed one spotted at nine week scan. Empty sac with no baby found. Took three weeks for mc to start and I ended up having complications and spent several nights in hospital.

Confirmed MC#2 April 2014. Had scan at 6 weeks that showed fetal pole and HB but started to miscarry at 11 weeks. Scan showed empty sac again. Had ERPC and officially broke down.

Currently 19 weeks pregnant following different progesterone treatment plus mini aspirin and I'm bricking it. 20 week scan is booked for 16 February.

Feel for you barking. I know you have a lot riding on this. I am very bad for not waiting till at least tomorrow. I just avoided drinking anything for a few hours beforehand. Obv it would be better to wait, particularly as you have a day of work to get through, but I can't exactly tell you to wait when I didn't bloody well do it! Whatever you decide to do and whatever the result, we're here

Sunandrainbow · 05/02/2015 17:09

Thanks flower. So stats:
Me 38, dh 37
Mmc 1: apr 14 at 11 weeks (fetus 7). Erpc after retained products)
Mmc 2: July 14 bo at 8 weeks. Erpc
Mmc 3: Jan 15. 8 weeks but fetus measuring small after hb seen at 7.

All rmc tests negative. Waiting for chromosomal tests on fetus (hopefully tomorrow). Rmc will provide progesterone and heparin if get pg again. Currently deciding whether to have another 2 months off ttc to go to coventry (feel like ovaries are getting old and wrinkly before by eyes and 2 months feels a lifetime).

X

Looks like it failed. Bfn.
Not sure I can face another cycle.

cloudjumper · 05/02/2015 18:38

Glad that everything is fine, just Hope it'll be all plain sailing from now on!

longest Sad Do you think it might be too early? Hope you're OK, it's so deflating, and more went into it all for you this time. Have you spoken to your DH?

Sunandrainbow · 05/02/2015 18:44

oh barking - really sorry to hear that. I can't remember how many dpo you are? Could it just be too early to tell yet? Also would it be worth testing again with fmu? x

Flen · 05/02/2015 18:47

barking hugs hugs hugs. I know it's hard, and I found it hard last week with the possibility still existing of a positive because early testing etc, just take one day at a time and maybe still test at the weekend. And have more hugs.

longestlurkerever · 05/02/2015 18:56

Hugs Barking. Not sure what else to say. It still could be too early but I know that doesn't make it any less torturous. Really feel for you.

Me2Me2 · 05/02/2015 19:06

Congrats march! Fab news

barking oh no I'm sorry but hoping it's just too early.

Me2Me2 · 05/02/2015 19:09

Oh and my stats: 2mcs. First mac and erpc sept 2014, then natural at 6 weeks in dec.

Marchgirl · 05/02/2015 19:09

Massive hugs barking. So sorry. Could still be too early if you had a later implantation, but I know it must feel incredibly disappointing right now. Flowers

Catlover2014 · 05/02/2015 19:13

So sorry to read that barking, I hope it's just too early and it's a false negative. Can only say I have been there and know how hard it is. Here to listen anytime Flowers

barkingtreefrog · 05/02/2015 19:30

12dpo with a frer. I got a bfp at 12dpo after the last iui Sad.

bakingtins · 05/02/2015 19:35

I'm sorry barking that is crap. Such a slap in the face to get a BFN Sad

tannyLoo · 05/02/2015 19:40

Oh Barking I really feel for you. Totally gutting. Can you take tomorrow off and throw yourself into a good distraction? Just so you have some space... Thinking of you x

Justonemoretime · 05/02/2015 19:54

Barking, so sorry to hear this. So disappointing for you. Hugs.

Here's my stats:
3x mmcs, #1 and #2 at 6 and a half weeks, both discovered on scans following spotting. This was Nov '11 and May '12. Then some local tests, all clear. Prescribed 400mg progesterone from bfp and baby aspirin 'just in case', investigations for thin lining following repeat ERPCs and complications from MMC#2, which needed a course of HRT to 're-set' my cycle, which had pretty much shut down.
Then conceived #3 and got past danger point, saw a good scan at 9.1 weeks only to discover mmc#3 at routine 13 week scan. Turned out baby had Turner Syndrome after genetic testing. That was June '13.
RMC testing at St Mary's, London all clear, but uterine septum removed October '13.
After no joy for 3 months, went for NK testing at Coventry, all normal there, too, well, thin lining and 'lower end of normal', but normal NK cells.
Took another 7 months to conceive again and was prescribed the protocol I'm on 400mg progesterone twice daily (from bfp - was originally 200mg twice daily, but increased due to some light spotting) and daily heparin injections which I started at 5.5 weeks after 'location' scan.
Now 20 weeks, scan mostly good, but need to go back in 2 weeks because baby was pointing in the wrong direction so they couldn't look at everything properly. The paranoia is starting to fade (until the next thing that comes along to be paranoid about). I'm now off both the heparin (stopped at 13 weeks) and progesterone (weaned down and finally stopped at the beginning of 15 weeks).
I'm 38 and DH is 37. We have no DC, and have been trying to start a family for 3.5 years.

Flower29 · 05/02/2015 19:56

Very sorry barking, get yourself a glass of wine and throw a sicky tomorrow. I really hope it's just too early yet. Thinking of you X Flowers
