Information, support, hand holding, tea, sympathy and a hell of a lot of combined knowledge - all welcome as we try to make sense of the RMC roller coaster of tests, NHS admin, heart ache and (hopefully) happy endings!
Please start with a recap of your stats :)

Justonemoretime · 24/01/2015 10:11

Flen, which one? This was in the Comedy theatre about 10-12 yes ago. I can't remember the play.

Oh, and Ewan McGregor? Yum...Wink

Flen · 24/01/2015 10:15

eva I have just had all the tests too with nothing showing. For my next pregnancy I am going to have weekly scans with the recurrent miscarriage consultant from 5 weeks. He has also suggested aspirin, but I don't know if I hold out much hope for that. If the next one doesn't work out, we might consider going to see Prof. Quenby in Coventry (Google this) as some ladies on here have had some success with that. I know progesterone is quite commonly prescribed, but my consultant says he only gives it to people with PCOS, which I don't have. Again, if the next one doesn't work out, I might ask for it the time after that. Sorry you find yourself here, but this thread is full of knowledge so hopefully will be useful for you.

Flen · 24/01/2015 10:16

just I worked at the Royal Court mostly, but met him at Hampstead Theatre, also can't remember which play...!

Marchgirl · 24/01/2015 10:16

Must be cloud Grin. Can't complain about a shorter cycle but wish I'd known so we could have planned this month better.

TinyTear · 24/01/2015 10:48

Mmm Scottish accents...
My DH is Scottish but has been in England for so long he doesn't have much of one, boo

Brummiegirl15 · 24/01/2015 11:01

Eva so sorry for your losses. These ladies are amazing.

I'm only (only!) on mc number 3 so there are definitely more experienced ladies than me on this thread. I took aspirin this time too and I still had an mc. It's shit.

Had my Mum staying last night and apparently her and my sister have been chatting and she said it's fairly routine for Mr Watts to prescribe progesterone to his patients. So I'm hopeful.

Had acupuncture on Thursday and was told my cervix was a problem (no shit!!) and that my progesterone was a problem. So I'm hopeful that I'll get the same advice from Mr Watts.

I've already decided if this time (when it happens !!!) it doesn't work then I'll be going to Coventry but I want to give Mr Watts (and my sisters recommendation) a chance first

Hope everyone is ok today!

Brummie, I'm thinking of a similar plan for when next ttc. Got my consultant appointment next month so think we'll start again month after.

Brummiegirl15 · 24/01/2015 12:01

girlie we are on an enforced break until seeing consultant on 23rd.

We'll be straight out of his office and DTD!!!!

Justonemoretime · 24/01/2015 12:14

Lol, when we were given the green light from prof Regan at st Mary's, I joked to my dh 'well, that's our plans for this afternoon sorted,' and she said (very dryly, but with amusement), 'well, please do try to wait until you get home.' Shock Smile

Just- ha-ha that made laugh!

Brummie, we're at the consultant on the 19th. Sounds like we're going to be ttc buddies!

Flen · 24/01/2015 12:56

Trying to get my head around who is where, who is in the TWW?

girliesaints · 24/01/2015 13:07

What's the tww flen?

Flen · 24/01/2015 13:08

Two week wait, in between ovulation and period...

girliesaints · 24/01/2015 14:00

Aah, not me then x

TinyTear · 24/01/2015 14:40

Brummie and Just I conceived DD after coming home from seeing Mr Rai at St Mary's

I have had a crush on Ewan since trainspotting days though I also met him once (well, saw him giving a talk at uni anyway) and he wasn't quite as hot in real life. The accent makes my knees wobble though. James McAvoy is a neighbour of mine and causes similsr issues, which is slightly embarrassing. Dh once got mistaken for Johnny Lee Miller at a wedding though, hich made me giggle. I mean I think he is gorgeous but.... (no accent though, boo!)

On my way to cake to celebrate my two friends going on maternity leave. TTrying to put the fact it would have been my due date too out of my head and focus on bump.

Welcome Eva and sorry for your losses. Sounds like Coventry might be a good next step for you. Have you had hormone testing too? X

Marchgirl · 24/01/2015 15:07

flen, I think cloud and I are at ov, and presumably barking's procedure means she is at the same point, so all just about to start 2ww. Eek. Anyone else? What dpo are you on flen?

barkingtreefrog · 24/01/2015 15:37

Yep, was the first in the theatre this morning, DH in scrubs so he could come in with me Grin.
So officially in the 2ww and already bricking it. So much riding on it, and so frustrating that a bfp is such a massive win for us, but still only the first hurdle!
Can someone please put me to sleep and wake me up in two weeks when I can find out whether it worked or not? Hmm

Flen · 24/01/2015 15:44

march I am on cycle day 20, but not sure what DPO, as o was a bit bonkers this month...

Marchgirl · 24/01/2015 16:05

Great news barking. Hope our 2ww s go quickly and that they are all successful.

Justonemoretime · 24/01/2015 17:11

Sending fertile vibes your way, Barking!
