And no problem Grin its what we're here for. x

longestlurkerever · 15/09/2014 23:09

Hello everyone. Sorry, I have fallen behind. Aoife. I am sorry to hear your news. I was really hoping this would be the one for you. Sorry also to the newbies on the thread. I hope we can help a bit. Ididnt sorry about your disappointing appointment. If it's any comfort the message I got from St Mary's was similar, just delivered more sensitively.

Re a meet up, I fly to oz tues eve so am a bit pushed for time but will try to make it. Otherwise definitely up for the next one.

Took another test yesterday and still BFN but was a digital one which I have never had any luck with. Fully expecting AF to show up tomorrow though but on the upside I have persuaded gp to authorise my hormone tests so I can get those and my saline scan sorted if I am not pregnant, have my follow up consultation when I get back from holiday and be fully for my sticky bean!

Triplespin · 16/09/2014 08:14

Hi Aofie
Sorry to hear your news. It must be very upsetting but as Tanny says hopefully next one will be the sticky one. In the meantime is there any testing that your GP /rmc can offer you?

TinyTear · 16/09/2014 08:54

Hi all
A bit rushed today as going on my business trip this evening...

By the way, because I work full time and have my twonager, I can do lunchtime meets but not really evenings and weekends... I still get the guilt of having to work full time (ideally would do 3 or 4 days) so like to spend weekends and evenings with her...

longestlurkerever · 16/09/2014 14:51

No AF yet (due today). Really don't feel pg though. Quick q for anyone at St Mary's who's had a saline/aqua scan. Do you still remember the email address you're meant to contact on CD1-2? I have lost the leaflet and can't get through to the RMC.

Justonemoretime · 16/09/2014 20:06

Evening ladies, an odd q from me... Anyone ever heard of honey sneezes (you sneeze and immediately get a really strong sensation/taste/smell of honey). I've had it yesterday and today, and its very weird. Any idea, TTC related or just general health would be great. Ears/sinus feel blocked, too. Thanks!

tannyLoo · 16/09/2014 20:47

Sounds like something Pooh Bear would experience! How odd! What does Dr Google say?

We've had people digging up the road outside our house this evening, and it was raising my pulse, but I think (!) it might have stopped...

How is everyone today? It seems very quiet on here. How are you Aoife?

longestlurkerever · 16/09/2014 21:03

Enjoy your trip Tiny. Not heard of that, Just. Dr Google reckons it could be nothing but could be blood sugar related so might be worth getting your glucose levels tested again? Good luck.

Justonemoretime · 16/09/2014 21:17

Thanks Tanny and Longest, Dr Google came up with the blood sugar thing again, but I've never had any issues like that in the past? I have had lots of sinus issues, however, being a regular swimmer, so maybe its that. Annoying, and odd...

Aoife, sorry you've had what looks like a Chemical. That sucks. Hope you're OK?

Tanny, hope the workmen (women? Maybe) have gone. The land behind our house was tarmac'd today. Luckily I was out, but the cats were none too impressed... I had visions of them treading tar through the house but they stayed well clear.

((Waves to everyone))

tannyLoo · 16/09/2014 22:22

Nope, still there. It's going to be a long night...

bootles · 16/09/2014 23:16

Aoife sorry to hear about your negative test after getting a line. Just grim for you, hope you are ok x

Ugh I am in a foul mood! BFN today, CD 26 - I always get lines by day 10\11 PO. Although this is good really, because I am now planning on booking an appointment at Coventry, I can't help but be disappointed.

Also I tried to express to OH how bloody fed up I am feeling today with it all...I swear to God he would be quite happy to never discuss any of the losses ever again. It drives me mad that he doesn't feel it like I do, or more to the point, have any concept how I feel! He seems a bit baffled as to why I feel so much emotion. He can't cope with it when I have wobbles - which actually I rarely do as I am always either at work (part time) or with our son (definitely full time bless his cotton socks), so I just get on with it. Apparently I am superhuman and have no time or need for the occasional emotional outpouring....

TinyTear · 17/09/2014 07:33

He will get round to it. I think it is harder for men to express what they feel. mine told me last week that he had never told me how much he wants a second child, but he sees how the MCs affect me so is in agreement this is the last chance saloon....

longestlurkerever · 17/09/2014 08:27

Can I join you in the foul mood? Still no AF but bad PMS cleanliness. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed by this toilet training/nursery stand off and totally unsupported/undermined by dh. Just want to run away.

tannyLoo · 17/09/2014 08:46

Me too. Roadworks didn't stop until midnight, and it was 1am before I went to sleep. Awake several times during the night and horrible MC dreams when asleep.

I hate everyone and everything. Grrrr....

Bristolian1 · 17/09/2014 08:46

Morning ladies, sorry you're feeling so down bootles and longest I totally understand where you're coming from, today in addition to general grottiness I have woken up with a headache, which is my body's way of telly me that my hormone levels are dropping. How depressing. Sending tea and sympathy your way.

Bootles I agree with tiny, men do seem to have a different way of dealing with all this.

I'm off to join a gym today in effort to lose some of my carb-belly which I seem to have gained as a result of morning sickness. Am I mad?

girliesaints · 17/09/2014 09:02

Morning ladies, I've woken up today and feel really grotty and got no real energy. As it's now day + 9 since bleeding started I was expecting to start feeling better by now. No cramps and bleeding is reducing so know it's not an infection. Last time had the medical management and although felt sore for a few days I didn't feel this bad. Is this to be expected and is there are foods anyone recommends to get energy levels back up?

longestlurkerever · 17/09/2014 09:09

Oh Bristolian, I am sorry for what you're going through. So sorry for my self-indulgent post.

Feeling slightly better now dh has left for work, even though we didn't really make up before he left and he stropped off. Is that bad?

In a mood with poor MIL as well now as she keeps ringing to nag me about this, that and the other to do with the Australia trip. The latest being wanting to know which hotel we have booked in Sydney which was hitherto our ONE NIGHT in three weeks we had to ourselves. Silly to be miffed really as it's not like sitting in a travelodge room with dd was going to be much fun and this way we might even get a babysit out of it but what happened to "of course I won't be tagging around with you the whole time?" GRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Did I say I was feeling better? Oops.

On another note, and related to what Bristolian said, has anyone heard of the connection between low GI and fertility? Apparently it can help with PCOS symptoms and boost progesterone?

Was going to go and have my hormone blood test this morning as it needs to be done on CD1 or 2 but AF is still not here, so now I'll need to take time off work to go. More grr.

longestlurkerever · 17/09/2014 09:10

Girlie, sorry, crossed posts. Sorry you're feeling rough. It does take it out of you, doesn't it? I'd say iron and protein might be good for you, and failing that large helpings of cake.

Bristolian1 · 17/09/2014 09:19

Don't worry about that longest I think we're all entitled to a moan after what we've been through! Thank goodness I have you ladies to moan to!

girlie with my last MC I bled for ages and felt awful (I'd had medical management for that one) but it did get better eventually. Are you still taking pregnancy vits? I know it can be hard to look at the pack but they have all sorts of goodies in them so might help. Also your hormones are probably still all over the place so don't be too tough on yourself - I'm sure your body will heal in its own time Flowers

girliesaints · 17/09/2014 09:20

Longestlurkerever Thanks for the tip about iron/ protein. I was thinking along the same lines. Although cake could also be an option! Hope your day gets better- Sending hugs x

girliesaints · 17/09/2014 09:22

Thanks Bristolian - know I need to let my body recover. Hate lack of control at the best of time and this isn't really helping my mood Confused

twilightstruggle · 17/09/2014 11:26

Just - no discharge and it seems to be settling so won't panic just yet.

Sorry people are having down days.

longest - I've been reading about low GI too. Even made it in to waterstones to get a book about it but there weren't any (its all 5:2 diet atm). I think I'm going to give it a go. I've given up alcohol (for6 days so far - a big deal for me!).

MrsChocolateCupcake · 17/09/2014 12:12

Oh god I have missed loads!

Just going to do my best lol!

LongestLurker - Have you tested again? - I have PCOS and know Low GI diets are fab for PCOS but never heard about it and boosting progesterone.. But worth a go!

Justone - I have no idea but sounds very strange hope you get to the bottom of it soon!

Tiny - Hope you enjoy your trip!

Bootes - Sorry your feeling so low :( Not sure what to suggest with your partner. I find my husband gets a lot of be strong for Mrs C etc so he feels like he has to be my rock and support me that he doesn't get time too think about how he feels etc.. Could he be getting the same? and so turned his feeling's off as such? -Clutching at straws-

Sorry to hear some of you are in bad moods!

Girlie - It's awful isn't it... Mine happened on the 30th and in the last few days my bleeding is stopping with only small amounts now and I am starting to feel myself... after 17 days!
Hope yours settles soon!

Sorry if I have missed you it's hard to follow on here!

Afm - Me and H DTD last night and now I am worrying! I said we wouldn't even attempt it until we had seen the consultant and we had a better plan insitu for next time...I know that it's unlikely that I will get pregnant but I can't help myself worrying!
Anyways I have started my Folic acid, Vitamin D to get it in my system ready... will go to the higher dose once we have a BFP.

longestlurkerever · 17/09/2014 13:10

Aaaaaaaaaargggggghhhhh. I have the world's faintest bfp.All I can think about is that I am going to have to go through it all over again. Is very faint though. Could just be a chemical.

Triplespin · 17/09/2014 13:23

Hi longest!! Congrats. Wishing you success this time.
