Fab news just I'm so pleased for you! Grin

Justonemoretime · 30/10/2014 13:58

Lol, Tanny, I can imagine... why have one procedure when 10 conflicting ones will do...!

Barrelita, glad you've made progress with things. I also had the septum removal and 2x coils from Prof Regan. It's not nice, but hopefully will mean there is one less obstacle for you. Just for info, I thought the hrt would totally overtake my cycle but it didn't and I had my period at the normal expected time, and much heavier than normal. It was all fine, but it caught be out a bit. It's good to know what the last loss was down to, also, especially if you had nagging worries about your lifestyle (we all know it wasn't us, but we all still worry about it). My third was lost to Turner Syndrome, and finding out did give me a little bit of peace of mind. Good luck with everything.

TinyTear · 30/10/2014 14:03

tanny and just they didn't even give me a sharps bin!!!!

I had one left over from after my c-section nearly 3 years ago and used that, but then just put it all in the normal bin... i know i am evil but didn't know what else to do

cloudjumper · 30/10/2014 14:39

just Great news! First milestone ticked off, may there be many more to follow Smile

Marchgirl · 30/10/2014 16:34

Well what a shit day this has turned into. Had to go back to psc (epu) as I'm still passing big clots of blood 2 and a half weeks after m/c completed (sorry if tmi! ) had scan, all normal but blood test shows hcg is still at 100 Sad
So incredibly upset and disappointed. I was just starting to get back to normal and now I feel like I'm back at Square 1. Also horrible to have to go back to psc again and now stressing that they won't be able to do the testing at rmc in 3 weeks if my hormones are still raised. When is this going to end? !

Bristolian1 · 30/10/2014 16:43

Oh sorry March that is rubbish. Sending Brew and sympathy. I was still bleeding pretty heavily 3 weeks after my first MC but did go negative on POAS a few days later. Hope it's all over for you soon

I am also having a rubbish day. First AF since MC 2 has arrived today, and EDD from MC1 is tomorrow. To cap it off I got a congratulations you have/are about to give birth email from lanisoh (thought I had unsubscribed all of those!). Sad. Feeling really sad.

Marchgirl · 30/10/2014 17:03

Oh no. So sorry bristol. That's really crap. Only had the DD for my first one so far but it was horrid. Think the best you can say is hopefully once it's passed it will be easier to look forward. Hugs Flowers

Justonemoretime · 30/10/2014 17:06

March, that sucks. It will go down, I know it feels like an age. 100 is nearly there. Look after yourself.
Bristolian, automated emails are a bugger, aren't they Sad take it easy and try not to focus on the past at the expense of looking to the future. Remember the up side of af is the next ov... are you TTC at the moment or awaiting testing? Either way, we're all a step closer today than we were yesterday. (hugs) x

Itscurtainsforyou · 30/10/2014 17:23

Hello all - I'm not sure if this the right place to post this or not. I've just had another scan, supposedly to confirm the miscarriage is done. I've stopped bleeding etc now so thought it would be straightforward. But the scan showed the sac was still there (at the bottom of the womb same as last week), with something that might be the fetal pole inside. None of the others have found that, so I think she was being over- optimistic and realistically that would put me 4 weeks behind previously thought, which is impossible.

I now have to wait another 10 days for another scan. I have an appt with a dr about recurrent miscarriage next week - will the fact that there's still a question mark cause any problems? Will she tell me she won't do tests/suggest an action plan until I'm confirmed to have completely miscarried?

I just feel in limbo as I really wanted some closure today Hmm

Bristolian1 · 30/10/2014 17:25

Thanks guys - sorry to be a misery guts! Just I'm waiting for a gynae appointment for a painful dermoid cyst (which will hopefully be removed). Dont really want to try again til I know what's happening with this. Only (!) had 2 MC so not eligible for testing for RMC.

Bristolian1 · 30/10/2014 17:28

Sorry curtains I cross-posted with you. Don't know the answer to your question but I suspect she won't do anything until it's clear where you are at. Could your dates be wrong?

Itscurtainsforyou · 30/10/2014 17:37

Thanks bristolian - dates definitely right, regular cycles and bfp 5 weeks ago.
I've had all the initial blood tests after the previous miscarriage (to look for blood clotting issues etc) but she could want more/different ones - just don't know what to expect...

Triplespin · 30/10/2014 17:43

Sorry so many are having a rubbish day.
March - I had same thing high hcg, hang in there. It's not ideal and we want to move on quickly to TTC and this doesn't help.

Justonemoretime · 30/10/2014 17:55

Bristolian, sorry I didn't realise your full situation :( hope I didn't upset you with insensitive comments. Sorry you're waiting for your op; hope they get you sorted and back in good health to try again soon. Hope you never have the need for the RMC because you never get to 3 mcs.
Curtains, I'm sorry you're in limbo, how awful. I would speak to your clinic's secretary and see what they advise. They still might be able to get the ball rolling. Good luck.

TinyTear · 30/10/2014 18:22

Curtains that seems similar to my 1 and 2... I went from first bleeding on 28th May at 10 weeks to ERPC mid- July because on scans the mc wasn't complete and then was a sac with pole but never grew.
I was told I must have conceived straight away ovulated while having mc1 and one day I DTD so they just blended together...

My GP counted them as 2 as it helped towards my number 3 for the investigations...

TinyTear · 30/10/2014 18:23

Bristol, automated emails are terrible. After mc1 I didn't sign up for anything until after 20 weeks

Boozle80 · 30/10/2014 19:22

It's shit isn't it Bristol. I didn't unsubscribe from some things and it felt like someone had punched me in the face.

Curtains I'm 4.4 weeks pregnant and got my first RMC on Monday. They've told me to still go to it. Although I'm not expecting to have tests done but feedback on any findings from the baby. They did say there were a couple of tests they can do whilst I'm pregnant and my hormone levels are up. Don't know if this is helpful for you at all?

longestlurkerever · 30/10/2014 21:00

So sorry to all those having rubbish days. One of my best pals just started iui (she is gay) and her AF arrived today. Despite envying those who have an easy ride I am sad for her. She has limited funds and is nervous of medical stuff. Made me appreciate that all I have to do to keep trying is dtd. Will keep my fingers crossed for her as well as you lovely ladies.

tannyLoo · 30/10/2014 21:39

Sorry there are so many crappy days for people at the moment. I hope things get better.

I have another scan tomorrow, my 8th for this pregnancy (that I can remember). This one is because they couldn't get a good view of the heart chambers last time. I'm actually feeling OK about it, finally, after a wobble on Monday when I had to get some reassurance from the midwives.

I know how hard it is to hear about other people's pregnancies sometimes, but I hope they can inspire hope. I really really didn't think I'd get here. After 5 MCs I really was ready to call it quits.

Justonemoretime · 31/10/2014 07:56

Good luck today Tanny, hopefully baby will be facing in the right direction so you can get the view you need.
I know we are all luck to have our partners so we can keep trying. So many out there have other, practical barriers.
On a totally different note, I was alarmed to have a sexy dream last night... Blush cause for concern? Shock

Justonemoretime · 31/10/2014 07:57

*lucky

longestlurkerever · 31/10/2014 08:12

Just I think that's a pregnancy symptom. Enjoy! Glad to hear about your scan yesterday. Good luck today Tanny. Good to hear you sound positive x

TinyTear · 31/10/2014 08:16

well tanny I am 16+6 and I have had 5 scans already
and I WANT MOOOORE!

TinyTear · 31/10/2014 08:17

By the way, the ones of you who bought the baby loss awareness badge, do you still wear it? i only wore it that week, but was wondering if I should just leave it in my coat...

bakingtins · 31/10/2014 08:18

Hugs to march and curtains it's crappy to be stuck in limbo.
bristol automated emails suck! Things like that can just floor you. Hope you are ok.
tanny hope scan goes well today and baby is feeling cooperative.
