Hi just

I know we tend to read too much into these things. Are u sure u ovulated on day17? Is it possible that something you are taking may have shortened your LP?

I don't think it should be anything to be too concerned about - but if if worries you maybe you can ask your GP to rerun the standard cd2 LH FSH and oestrogen tests?

Hope you have been able to take your mind off it for rest of the day

Justonemoretime · 21/09/2014 17:52

Thanks ladies, I'm pretty sure about ov and I'm not taking anything other than conception multi vits... its not getting me down so much as making me go hmmm. For what its worth, spotting has stopped so I guess I'll watch this space...

Justonemoretime · 21/09/2014 17:53

Oh, and my crazy greasy hair is bothering me again. seriously, I can't wash it clean. Sad

longestlurkerever · 21/09/2014 18:32

Just No harm mentioning it to the Dr but I conceived dd on a very weird cycle. Seems I didn't over until a few days before AF was due and I didn't get a bfp till I was 8 days late.

Justonemoretime · 21/09/2014 18:52

thanks longest, spotting is on and off, so I don't think it will as exciting as your story! I've emailed Coventry and see what they think. Hmmm.

bakingtins · 21/09/2014 19:00

spotting at 10 ish days post ov could be implantation.

Baking, I know... BFNs up to now. if af doesn't get going properly. I'm not optimistic, but I guess its a possibility...

Justonemoretime · 21/09/2014 19:09

brain not working... I'll test again if af doesn't get going in the next 48 hours... it probably will get going, though.

Triplespin · 21/09/2014 19:38

Hope it's IB - fx

girliesaints · 21/09/2014 20:17

Evening ladies,

Just a quick post to ask if anyone has Charlie O'Brien's blog (realgirlramblings) on getting pregnant after two mc and the cause being found due to killer cells. Know some of the ladies on here have talked about this before but as a relative newbie I found it very interesting from a female perspective and have an insight into the treatment she had both to conceive and once she fell pregnant. Hope it's of use. X

longestlurkerever · 21/09/2014 20:32

Torture, just. Fx for you. Thanks for the link girlie.Nice story from the pg after mc thread - squizita who was v helpful after my last mc just had a baby girl after three mcs. All well, she is coming home today. Our tanny will be next!

Justonemoretime · 21/09/2014 20:39

thanks for the link girlie, interesting read. Never heard of that soya infusion thing, anyone else know anything about that?
Fabulous news about Squiz, I remember when she got pg this time (and had ib and thought it was game over) - more reasons to have hope Wink

longestlurkerever · 21/09/2014 20:45

Some of the women on the ttc after mc thread were talking about it, Just. One reckoned it brought her ovulation forward by a week. Was going to check it out then remembered today I am pregnant Blush.

Bristolian1 · 21/09/2014 21:16

That is interesting girlie thanks for sharing.

twilightstruggle · 21/09/2014 21:33

FC for IB here too Just

tannyLoo · 21/09/2014 21:46

Been away for the weekend, so just been catching up...

Welcome to the newbies, too much to take in at the moment to offer anything specific, but will do if I can. Really pleased to hear of people getting support after MC2.

Just I am quietly hoping here. And I did fess up at the end of the interview, no idea what it did to my chances. Soon will I guess...

Longest I like being "our Tanny" Blush

Bristol based lovelies, let's start looking at dates for a meet! Evenings and weekends are going to be better for me I'm afraid.

I'm afraid I've got the fear again. Don't know what to do about alleviating it, apart from contact my mw and see if she can offer something to a neurotic bird like me... Sad

Justonemoretime · 22/09/2014 07:12

Meh, its AF. Thanks for giving me a little bit of hope, ladies, I enjoyed it while it lasted!

Justonemoretime · 22/09/2014 07:16

Good luck today Purple!
Hope you get good news, too, Tanny.
I had two (two!) separate dreams about being pg last night and a dream about water. Damn my subconscious Sad I'm obviously disappointed but I'm ok. Hope the Coventry team gives me an answer and a plan following my email yesterday.

bakingtins · 22/09/2014 07:24

Sorry the witch got you just

purple good luck for your scan, and tanny good luck on the job front.

Delighted to hear about squiz hopefully she'll pop back and tell us the details when she's home.

The 'soya infusion' mentioned in the blog is intralipids, and the 'blood transfusion' is IVIG, both used by the London NK docs but not Coventry. If anyone wants to know more about them go ask on "TTC or pregnant on pred" on the conception board.

Great news on Squiz
She was on the RMC September / October antenatal thread before my last MC

Purplefrogshoes · 22/09/2014 10:53

Sorry just quick update, had to cancel scan as DD really unwell with uti and tonsillitis Sad booked in for Wednesday.

Sorry just

Waves to everyone else, hope you are all doing ok

cloudjumper · 22/09/2014 12:13

Aww, bless, that's great news about squiz Here's hoping...

tanny One day at a time! Have you thought about doing pregnancy yoga or something like that? It really helps.... Or maybe the MW can request another scan soon? I'd say ask her to listen for a heartbeat asap, but in my experience (and I was told this last time by the MW as well), 16 weeks is really early to reliably expect to hear a hb, so it can cause a lot of unnecessary anxiety.

just Sorry you've been 'AF-ed', it's just cruel. I think we all deserve a pat on the shoulder for having to deal with the disappointment month after month. I never considered myself a symptom-spotter (mainly because my brother is the world's worst hypochondriac, and I never wanted to be like that!), but the 2ww sends me over the edge every.single.time. Do treat yourself to something nice!

purple Oh no, your poor DD. That sounds like the infection-combination from hell! Having to drink loads for the uti, but then having tonsillitis, which is going to make that really painful - poor thing. Hope she feels better soon!

No real news from me. Ovulation imminent - CBFM says 'low', but the faintest of lines has started to appear on the OPK last night. Here we go again...

charlieis30 · 22/09/2014 12:22

Hi everyone
Back after 5 days on the other side of the pond. Will read back to catch up on how everyone is doing!
Just wanted to check in to ask if anyone's had persistent spotting mid-cycle? It's weird as first cycle after MC was normal (30 days) and I'm now up to CD12 so was getting really excited to get back to TTC but I've been spotting a bit for the last 2 days and having some really mild cramps. I'm so worried I'm AFing again. Seeing Dr tomorrow to get chromosome analysis results so I'll mention it but I'm sure the answer will be "your cycles might be a bit off after MC" which doesn't seem helpful. I asked Dr Google (mistake) and seems mi-cycle spotting can be linked to low progesterone? So at this point I'm feeling very sorry for myself.

twilightstruggle · 22/09/2014 12:27

Sorry AF has arrived Just. And sorry you had to cancel your scan Purple.

Hang in there Tanny. Fear is very understandable. Hopefully your midwife can offer some support and reassurance. I've found mindfulness quite helpful in the past.
