Welcome everyone - pull up a chair! A thread for anyone who has suffered multiple miscarriages and is in need of information, moral support, tea or sympathy. Newbies very welcome.

Can we start the thread with a recap of where we are all up to again, please?

Thanks! x

JBrd · 10/06/2014 15:07

Congratulations Seasalt! Everything crossed for you, may this be the stickiest baby ever Thanks

SeaSaltMill · 10/06/2014 15:17

thanks guys.

I'm sat here trying to think of the positives.

I'm on Aspirin.
I'm on Progesterone.
I've been on pre-natals for a while now.
I've got a BFP at 9dpo which is the earliest I've EVER had one.
Its not too faint. Its probably about the same as my 12dpo one last time.
I will be scanned early.
My boobs hurt and I have back ache already.

This is all good right?

tannyLoo · 10/06/2014 15:50

Yup, all good Smile

SeaSaltMill · 10/06/2014 16:22

:)

Justonemoretime · 10/06/2014 17:25

Congrats Seasalt :)
Baking, huge thanks :)

Triplespin · 10/06/2014 17:42

Congratulations seasalt - the bfp at 9dpo and being similar to your 12dpo is a very good sign indeed. I have always had faint lines to start with and then gone on to mc. I hope this is your lucky sticky bean.

Tanny - well done on getting through. Yes you might as well start as you would have results before bfp.

Tiny - how much longer before you get your Prof Q results?

Trying - how are things with you? Your appointment with Mr S should be coming up soon too right? I hope you get some answers.

As for me, not much to report. Waiting for second AF post mc. I am on cd 34 and just got slight spotting. I am hoping AF starts tomorrow. It's very annoying. I will be using clomid this cycle due to pcos issues. I can have very long and irregular cycles too. I have all my treatment in place but now waiting for that elusive bfp. I hope the wait is not too long.

Tryingno1 · 10/06/2014 20:34

seasalt - congrats. I'm hoping u have a uneventful 9 months. of course u can stay on here! we all send u all our luck!

tiny - glad the appt went well. hope ur recovered post scratch!

triplespin - hope AF comes soon. i hate the waiting game. actually i hope it doesn't come soon and u have a bfp too!

I have my appt july 14th so still a while. I've finallllllyyy stopped bleeding so now got to wait for 1 st AF post MC. Not going to tc until august as per my acupuncturist/not sure i can handle it! I'm feeling much better and have some holidays planned where i WILL be enjoying the wine!

TinyTear · 11/06/2014 07:09

Hi. They said results in 4 weeks. But I have the cyclogest to take from the next day 21 even before the results just in case...

Justonemoretime · 11/06/2014 07:32

My results took about 5 weeks, so I'd had my cycligest to use for month 1. Good luck!

tannyLoo · 11/06/2014 07:47

I was thinking last night that we need a MN handshake, for those waiting room moments Grin Grin Grin

Triplespin · 11/06/2014 08:02

Trying - aah still a month to go. He is a busy man! August is not too far away and you should hopefully be on a plan by then with Mr S.

AF arrived today - so I can get going again. Last time it took 7 months and only after a hsg that I fell pregnant. So I am expecting a long wait for that elusive bfp.

hiya all , im 25, 3 previous miscarriages all ending at ten weeks or around there, last one was march we'd been trying for 3 years for this one, we are ttc again now although tetsing has not been mentioned by my doctor as of yet, thyroid problems do run in my family although iv been tetsed negative. xx

TinyTear · 11/06/2014 14:21

Hello, if you are in the UK, after 3 consecutive mcs you should be allowed to be refered for testing...

Can you ask your GP to refer you to your nearest recurrent miscarriage clinic? some tests require you NOT to be pregnant, so might be worth checking sooner rather than later...

welcome!

Justonemoretime · 11/06/2014 14:26

Whitwoo, welcome, sorry you find yourself here. I second Tiny's advice. Get your GP to refer you asap and I also strongly recommend that you hold off ttc again until you have some results. Blood clotting issues, auto immune etc. can be easily treated if discovered and you'd kick yourself if it happens again and there was a treatment you couldn't had. You can't be pg for most of these tests, however. Good luck.

tannyLoo · 11/06/2014 15:07

Right. I'm going to sign off for a bit.

I've been thinking about it, and one of the things DH and I talked about last night is my obsessive behaviour when we're TTC. I need to calm the fuck down.

So, for the next few weeks I'm going to ignore MN as this definitely feeds my obsession.

I'll pop back at the end of the 2ww and catch up then.

I am also a prolific facebooker and instagrammer , and am happy to be a bit more "real" to anyone who'd like that. PM me.

Good luck Tiny, Just, JBrd, Triple and Trying!

Chock a block!

TinyTear · 11/06/2014 15:35

PM on the way tanny
Good luck as well!

Tryingno1 · 11/06/2014 16:18

JBrd · 11/06/2014 17:53

Triplespin · 12/06/2014 08:29

Bye tanny. Looking fwd to some good news soon then. Do let us know when you get your test results and proposed treatment.

bakingtins · 12/06/2014 10:57

Good luck tanny make sure you come back and update us when you have news Smile

whitwoo welcome - I agree with the others that you should get the ball rolling on the NHS tests, it will take a little while to get an appointment and then wait for results, so if you are thinking of having the summer off it's still worth getting that process underway. I think having a complete break is often a good thing emotionally and physically. Unlike most of us old gimmers you do at least have youth and time on your side.
