I can still go!! Weather is a bit off-putting but I know if I stay here with the girls we'll all be climbing the walls by 11am!

LittleMissSnowShine · 01/10/2010 08:49

TakeLovingChances · 01/10/2010 08:50

Yay! See you all later on :)

MamaMary · 01/10/2010 10:44

So sorry, ladies, that I didn't make it. Whole family slept in and by the time I'd have got C and me ready, would have been too late. :C

TakeLovingChances · 01/10/2010 12:47

Mama don't worry! Lucky you sleeping in Envy

Maybe next time you'll be able to make it.

LMSS had her wee one there, so sweet :) Was good to see the ones who were there, hope to see you soon.

Yes, lovely to catch up again...wee Dara is just so gorgeous...as are Oran and Adam of course! Would have been lovely to have met Claire too LMSS but I reckon a sleep in is the best excuse for missing a meet-up - you lucky thing!

My two are sleeping like logs now - all that running about did the trick!

Looking forward to the next meet Smile

LittleMissSnowShine · 01/10/2010 15:06

Great day today - coffee with mumsnet ladies and quiet, sleeping baby in buggy and he actually stayed asleep allowing me to pick up some stuff in shops and a pair of jeans for myself in new look (cheerio baggy maternity ones!!) and then back home again. bliss!!!

roll on xmas party!

lucky you, mamamary, sleeping in is the best!! i got to do it yesterday morning and it was amazing, didn't get up until 10:45 Grin

hope you're feeling better Tee!

TryLikingClarity · 03/10/2010 07:57

Just seeing if my namechange worked....

Tee2072 · 05/10/2010 17:27

Are we meeting again during the day, ladies? Or are we waiting for our night of drunken debauchery? Grin

booyhoo · 05/10/2010 19:00

mumoffourgirls · 07/10/2010 10:21

Just letting you know ladies I heard from a friend that playtime at connswater has closed down..

CarrickG1rl · 07/10/2010 14:11

hi all,

I'm new to this site and not really sure how to use it yet! I live in Carrickfergus and have just had a little boy :)

Would be lovely to get to know some of you's

xxx

TryLikingClarity · 08/10/2010 20:27

Hello!

Is a bit dis-jointed in here at the minute, where'd everyone go?

CarrickG1rl, welcome to you! Congrats on your little boy. What age is he? I have a DS too, he is 7 months old :) I live in Glengormley, not far from Carrick, is great knowing other mums in NI through this site.

mumof4girls that's sad news. It was so packed that day that we were there! It seemed really popular. There is a similar thing very close to my house, called Fun Works (I think that's the name) and there is a Funky Monkey's place at Abbeycentre. Might have to try those out instead and let you all know if they are good or not.

Ummm, sorry this post is a bit epic Blush

Tee2072 · 10/10/2010 14:33

Hi all

Sorry I've been away to Dublin for the weekend.

Welcome carrickg1rl. Care to join us for our Christmas do?

mumof4girls are you sure? Every time I've been past there it's looked really busy. What a bummer!

Okay so where else can we meet up?

booooooooooyhoo · 11/10/2010 12:02

oh gosh, that's a pity mumoffour. that please seemed like a great spot.

I'm not great with playplaces in and around belfast, i only know funky monkeys in downpatrick or coco's in newcastle. or i suppose tehre is indiana land in dundonald but the baby area is very small and not alot of seating.

Tee2072 · 15/10/2010 17:42

Lost y'all again.

Is anyone interested in meeting before the XMas do?

Who is coming to the XMas Do?

TryLikingClarity · 16/10/2010 18:30

Hi Tee, it's soooo quiet in this thread!

I'd be up for a meeting before the Christmas do. DS would be happy to see you all again.

Yes, I'll be at the Christmas do, sans DS and less frazzled looking Grin

Tee2072 · 16/10/2010 20:56

I know, where did everyone go?!?!

booooooooooyhoo · 17/10/2010 21:44

hello I'm here. i think i will do a shout out in chat maybe? to see if anyone's about and we can get a day meet organised.

Tee2072 · 18/10/2010 08:25

Good idea Boo.

dingdong3 · 18/10/2010 13:40

Hello....I'm back from the dark side! Nightmare changeover from Sky to BT. so good to be back!

Really gutted that Playtime is closed - I wonder why...my friend knows the lady who owns it so must ask her.

I'm up for a meet up again before our Christmas night out. Jumping Jacks in Lisburn is good but actually, there 's a wee church cafe in Lisburn also that's free to go to and had a little play area. Nothing fancy, but it's free.

Conscious that it's tricky for you to get to Lisburn, Tee. Some of the 500 buses go up the Lisburn Road and right into Lisburn town centre but also, i am happy to give you a lift - plenty of room in my car.

booooooooooyhoo · 18/10/2010 17:30

any dates in mind dingdong? I'm pretty flexible so I'm not going to suggest any because i know alot of you work and have DCs of different ages.

the cafe in lisburn sounds good

Tee2072 · 18/10/2010 17:33

Depends on what day dingdong (welcome back, BTW [hgrin].

Fridays are usually good for us.

dingdong3 · 19/10/2010 09:22

How about the 19th Nov? Can't do October with half term etc. 12th Nov a possibility also but 19th better

booooooooooyhoo · 19/10/2010 15:43

yep 19th is good for me.
