Sorry I can't make it today - stuck at work and picking up kids from school later on.

Hope you all have a great time.

PlumBumMum · 25/06/2010 13:01

Wonder how they are getting on??

becky2010 · 25/06/2010 13:03

so annoyed bil in law was supposed to pick his daughter up over an hour ago! he knows i was going out!

mumoffourgirls · 25/06/2010 14:24

Did you make it to the meet up becky?

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/06/2010 15:00

excellent meet up today ladies, sorry all those who couldn't make it along. quite intimidating approaching a circle of prams parked outside the museum and giving your code name

but really nice to meet everyone and their v cute babies - 3 Adams!! Me and mamamary are only coming along to future meet ups if our DCs behave themselves half as well!!

Tee took a pic so maybe she'll share it and tempt everyone along to the next mumsnet meeting

Tee2072 · 25/06/2010 15:38

Lovely meeting everyone!

Pic is on my profile or you can go here!!

Talking about meeting again on 30th July! Place and time wiiiidddeee open!

mumoffourgirls · 25/06/2010 15:48

Everyone looks like they were having a great time

TakeLovingChances · 25/06/2010 16:04

MNers in RL aren't nearly as scary as I imagined they'd be! In fact, they look just like 'normal' people

Was good fun, and so glad Adam wasn't cranky. Just home now; he slept in the car and he's still asleep now. Result!

Tee2072 · 25/06/2010 16:10

My Adam hasn't even closed his eyes! Glad yours did TLC.

booyhoo · 25/06/2010 16:26

it was soo good to be able to put names to faces, sorry for everyone who couldn't make it and where is MISSfancycar? we were all hoping to get some juicy gossip, nada!! cant believe how well behaved all the littlies were, not a peep out of them. hope nobody got rained on, on the way home. it stayed off my end not sure about the other direction though.

WhenKevinMetSadie · 25/06/2010 17:00

Speedy work Tee!

Good to meet everyone day, hopefully I will make next meet up before my return to work

Might even feel confident enough to bring DD as well as the boys (depending on where we're meeting!).

dingdong3 · 25/06/2010 17:36

So lovely to meet you all....and thanks Tee for the photo. I had to phone a friend to keep DS for me as I was late for the school run but it was only because I was having so much fun!
Looking forward to July and hopefully we'll get a few new faces to join our gang then {smile}

PlumBumMum · 25/06/2010 18:17

Wow you like you all had a lovely time and you all look lovely, I might have ruined the photo being there, and I have an Adam too!!

booyhoo · 25/06/2010 19:19

OMG adam must be the name of the year!!

TakeLovingChances · 25/06/2010 19:21

plum Another Adam??!! Are you serious? I can't believe that out of 6 boys there today, half of them were called Adam. It must be the new version of 'Jack'.

whenkevinmetsadie I said to my DH that you were there. He says he sort of remembers you from when he started uni. It is a small world! His pic is on my profile if you want to have a peek and see if you recognise him too.

PlumBumMum · 25/06/2010 19:23

My Adam will be 7 in August though so guess I'm a trend setter

Tee2072 · 25/06/2010 20:41

Dammit plumbumum I thought I was the trend setter since my Adam was the oldest one there today!

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/06/2010 21:33

All these lovely cute little Adams - maybe I'll end up having an Eve

This has pretty much nothing to do with anything but we're clearing a bit of space in our small bijou house and my beloved lucky Ikea desk has to go! Has only had one careful owner, is in mint condition and helped me get my thesis finished on time (not very usual in an arts PhD student!!) but I've had to reluctantly stick it up on Gumtree today so if any of you know someone looking for a desk which could also double up as a rather fabulous table then this one is going for a song to a good home!!

MamaMary · 25/06/2010 22:15

Enjoyed today's meet-up - everyone was really lovely. Might not be able to make it to the next one (if it's in a month's time) as I may well have a newborn by then, but would definitely love to meet up again and introduce my little bundle to the group!

WhenKevinMetSadie · 25/06/2010 23:04

TLC, I do recognise your DH. You're right, it is a small world!

I think all of us with Adams are trendsetters

PBM, maybe we can meet you & your Adam in July! Like dingdong says, the bigger the NI posse the better!

LMSS, Eve is lovely; Eva was on my shortlist if we'd had girls... Don't think I could use it now if we ever had another DD (Adam & Eva would be too cruel!)

Mamamary, would love to meet your DS/DD when they arrive!

FairhairedandFrustrated · 25/06/2010 23:18

Aw, gutted to have missed today - the weather was just right, too!!

Cremola, I was at the Mile for Maude, was fff2 then though All these namechanges, anyone would think there was a want in me!

Will deffo try & make the next meet - always good to make new friends

Photo is lovely, though I would have been lost among the prams & would probably have went home and jumped dh broody

PlumBumMum · 26/06/2010 10:52

Whenkevinmetsadie I love Eva/Eve and had the same sentiments as you couldn't have an Adam & Eve,
Yeap will definitely be easier to make next on, although I will have 3 dcs to keep entertained, my dd1 will love playing with all the babies

TakeLovingChances · 26/06/2010 14:47

I have an Adam (4 months), there's a 7 month old in our church called Eve.... you can imagine the comments we had when we 1st brought Adam in.

Eve and her family hardly ever go to church, so it's not so bad, but could get a bit tiresome hearing the same joke every week!

booyhoo · 28/06/2010 14:15

bump- looking for knock, haven't seen you in a few days.
