Anyone fancy a night out, for the Sutton & surrounding area's.

I live in Tamworth and Sutton is easy for me to get to.

I can also do Birmingham, Great Barr, Walsall etc

Any takers

Lets have some dates and locations for a nice meal and drink (non alcoholic for me)

Sounds good. I can't do this Monday as we're at the dentist, but other than that, Monday or Tuesday mornings are usually good.

Evening ladies. Looking forward to next week. Sorry WWB haven't been ignoring you DD has had nasty urine infection (again). It will be great to meet you all. Just one question how do you know who is from MN when you walk in to pub?

Ronniebaby · 01/06/2005 19:26

SallyC, you dont really, but if you want I'll cat you a picture of me and you'll recognise me, otherwise, you carry a little sign/card with mumsnet on and we'll recognise you

Or if it's the kind of place where you can book a table, we book and tell you what name the table's booked in, and ten you just ask when you get there.

Ronniebaby · 03/06/2005 18:07

LS it isn't a bookable place, do you need directions sweetie????

OP posts:
LunarSea · 04/06/2005 08:36

RB - I've found the postcode of the place online, and got directions from the AA routefinder, so I should be ok I think. I could certainly do with a night out after what's been happening over the last few weeks (which I've posted about elsewhere so I won't depress everyone by repeating it here), so I'm quite looking forwards to it.

sallycinnamon · 04/06/2005 12:08

Lunar Sea its a pretty big place with car park in front. You'll easily see it

whimsy · 04/06/2005 16:04

Looking forward to it ladies

Ronniebaby · 04/06/2005 23:51

LS - if you get lost call my mobi & I'll direct you in.

Whimsy - how you doing, not long about 5 weeks isn't it???

Ronniebaby hope ds arm is ok, have you heard from Madame butterfly is she still coming?

Looking forward to meeting the rest of you

LunarSea · 07/06/2005 15:46

See you all tomorrow - but please will no-one take offence/someone wake me up if I fall asleep? I've been totally shattered by early evening the last couple of weeks (probably down to blood counts and the like still being low) so don't take it as any reflection on you lot if I start to nod off!

WigWamBam · 07/06/2005 18:02

Keep your fingers crossed that I'll still be able to join you; dh is stuck in Devon on business at the moment, and if the subcontractors he has working for him don't get their act together, he's going to be there tomorrow as well and I won't be able to come.

Bl**dy men, he's had this on the calendar for ages.

whimsy · 07/06/2005 18:59

WWB, hope you can make it.

sallycinnamon · 07/06/2005 19:31

It would be great to meet you WWB

WigWamBam · 07/06/2005 19:32

I'm still hoping that he'll be able to get back in time, I should know later on!

Fingers crossed for me

Ronniebaby · 07/06/2005 22:11

Whim - spoke to MBF and as far as she is concerned she is coming, she will make her own way there as her outlaws are having DD, now this is a slight dilemna,

I am coming, well hopefully, WWB my Dh is as bad as your's, he's in cardiff tomorrow and said oh sh*t I have to be back for you, he won't put personal stuff in his diary as its on outlook and office staff can view it, so iIhave to KEEP reminding him.

He said he will try to be back for 6pm I said as long as he is back for 7.15pm at the latest I don't mind. My prob is I said I would take MBF home after, but if I don't make it there I can't. Dh might not get back till 9 or 10, but he said he will try his hardest to be back in time, if not he knows he will feel the wrath of me for a few weeks to come, and he'll be stopped his nights out.

Ouch I sound mean don't I, I'm not really, but I dont go out every week like him, and it's always the night I want to go out he bggers up for me, last time I told him straight you bgger the next one up and you don't go out on your night out for 2 weeks. He knows I mean it as I will just walk out the house and leave him with the kids and wont walk back in till 9pm.

OOOO I really do sound mean now, I'm just fed up with him wrecking my night out. End of rant & ramble.

See you all tomorrow xx

You're a scary lady!!!

Ronniebaby · 07/06/2005 23:05

Sallyc - not really, just try not to take crap .

I'm nice really

OP posts:
sallycinnamon · 08/06/2005 09:47

Only kidding Ronnie! I know what you mean though. I don't think they really appreciate what going out and leaving the kids means, and that you actually look forward to it for ages!

Ronniebaby · 08/06/2005 13:46

Sallyc I know you were.

Gotta call DH about 4-4.30 so will post when I know what's happening
