Croydon Nosh & Booze Up ?

Right I'm going to bite the bullet here and ask (nervously) if anyone in the Croydon area fancys meeting up one evening in May for a bite to eat and a few bevvies??

I was thinking of perhaps one evening during the week, and going to Anna's (Thai resturant) - in South Croydon which is next to Leon House.

If anyone dislikes Thai food we can change venue.

I'm up for it. I live In Wallington and I'm dying to get out and have a grown up evening.

It's tricky for me to commit to anything as DH tends to work late with very little notice but (in theory) I'm up for it!

I'll probably have moved by May (well .. that's if the solicitors are efficient anyway). Hope you all have a great evening though.

I'm in wallington too, I'll say Yes but as DH works shifts I'll work around everyone elses arrangments and give definate once a date is set.

OK here are some initial proposed dates ...

Weds 7th May, Thurs 8 th may or Weds 14th May

Mo2 - I think Anna's is approx a 10-15 min walk from East Croydon stn. Anna's is on the high st, so you might find it better to go by bus which may drop you off right outside - depending on where you are coming from

They sound good to me as I think DH has holiday booked around then.......listen to me 'I think' I should really know that shouldn't I.
My 20 scan is on the 6th so if I can make it I can tell you all personally what we're having....oh I'm really looking foward to meet ing everyone.

HOO-RAH DH is off on all 3 dates so I can do any of them. I can give anyone a lift too if anyone needs one. I'm in Wallington and 16 weeks PG so won't be drinking.

Well as it seems all dates are agreeable - shall we make it Weds 7th May ? - exactly a month since this original posting so hopefully it will be a lucky date

Only in theory, SB34. 7pm and no sign of DH yet...

Just to let you all know that I have spoken to Metrobaby and it is still on for the 7th.

She is currently on a residential course for work and will get back to us with details asap.

Just to confirm all you Croydon mumsnetters, that the 7th May (weds next week) is still on - providing we can all still make it.

I'll book a table at Anna's in South Croydon (next to Leon House, opposite the Khyber Indian rest on the high st) for 8pm
