Thought this would be easier than hijacking the general Nov thread.

The plan is to go to The Cadogan for Afternoon Tea at 3pm on Friday 3rd October. The Cost is just under £17 per person (maybe a bit more if we are an odd number).

I have made a reservation for 8 people just so we have something down (although they need to confirm it) but I think we need to give them firm numbers before the date. So can you please add your name here if you want to come.

So far we have:

ChocOrange05
Dozymare
MonkeyMargot
Hanaflower
Cricri

Anyone else??

Merry, are you sure you can't come, if you go into labour there can't be many places with more experienced people (not including myself!) in one place!! [Wink]

Tea booking is confirmed, we have 6 so far so as the booking is for 8 we have room for more and I won't amend the booking till a week before in case anyone else can come.

MerryMarigold · 17/09/2008 15:41

Choc, I will wait and see a week before how it is going...how far is it to walk from the tube? I'm not worried about going into labour at the hotel, but if it kicks things off and I have the babies on the 4th, we will have to celebrate 2 birthdays on our wedding anniversary! NOOOOOOOOO.

Oblomov · 17/09/2008 16:02

Hoorah for booking.
Am also in awe of Dozy and her bike riding. Does she do any other riding - ohh err missus - no seriously - where does the woman get the energy from ?

Did I miss a convo about sex ? How did that happen ? It is normally me that starts them
Talking of which.... dh having lovely time. Made love twice. Then tried for 3rd time, but no, dry as a bone. Is this normal ? Wierd.

Oblomov · 17/09/2008 16:04

Sporry, 2nd part of post, was on the wrong thread - thought I was on the normal thread.

ChocOrange05 · 17/09/2008 16:45

Oh dear. My Maternity wardrobe is extremely limited, particularly now the weather is changing. I will attempt to look smart-ish (by not wearing my jeans).
autumnlady glad you can come too!

Oblomov · 18/09/2008 14:56

I too, am paranoid, as to what to wear - especially with that MonkeyMargot woman - I mean she is SOOOOOO Glam
I own two pairs of maternity trousers. My Blooming marvellous jeans - from my last pregnancy. And a black pair of Dorothy perkins trousers, that I noticed today are bobbly.
I bought a new pair of trousers from the Next outlet village. Tried them on last week. Totally uncomfortable.

I have no idea what to wear to meet you Glam ladies.

MonkeyMargot · 18/09/2008 15:15

Obs whatever you wear, you are safe in the knowledge that you've had more sex in one DAY than I've had in the past 7.5 months. So you must be doing something right!

Oblomov · 18/09/2008 15:32

Cheers MonkeyM, but as I said , on the other thread. that subject is off limits for me, from now on. Not to be mentioned again, thank you.
It seesm it is only me that talks about it. And i want to stop that.
Seriously.

cricri · 18/09/2008 17:10

I'm glad I'm not the only one worrying about what to wear! Hope the weather doesn't turn too cold - none of my coats do up anymore. I've just bought a long cardigan but not sure it's smart enough for the ladies wot tea As for shoes... I've been wearing sandals all summer so it will be a shock to have to wear proper shoes!
Really looking forward to it though and meeting you all in person

ChocOrange05 · 19/09/2008 18:09

Autumn you are more than welcome of course!

No idea what I will wear - something becoming of an increasingly large me I hope. I have no warm jackets though so I am hoping this nice weather holds out till bump arrives!

Obs you're not the only one who talks about sex - you're just the only one who talks about it and is getting some!!!

Dozymare · 20/09/2008 19:50

ooohhhh - i just found this thread how did i miss that one?!!!! I am sure we had about 10 people up for a meet when we first started discussing it...

I am actualloy being MAD - not only am i meeting oyulovely ladies for tea, I am then going out for dinner with 6 of my mates..........Me thinks i will then need to spend the rest of the weekend in bed recovering!!!

As for what to wear - i am worrying as well......will not wear jeans but may put on a dress and boots!

Oblomov · 22/09/2008 16:31

Ladies, is it booked for 3pm ?
That is a bit too late for me. I did mention this before. I kind of asked if it could be nearer 1pm, or atleast 2pm.
I think I may not be able to stay long.
Which is such a shame, because i have REALLY REALLY been looking forward to this for months.

Is there any possibility that we could make it a bit earlier.

I can't be getting to Waterloo and coming home on the train too late.
