Right, so some voting (for dates), and some venue checking has been done, and Me n NappiesGalore have made executive organising planning decisions (based on us having little time and few options )

Saturday 22nd November

Dust Bar (website here)

Nearest Tube Station - Farringdon

It will be canapes, so if you want more food, eat beforehand.

The canapes are being chosen for us - they will be clearly labelled as meat, fish, veg and will allergy advice.

The music we can bring a dj, ipod with playlist set up or have music piped up (music is a very varied mix so should suit everyone). We can use any/all of those options.

Music is quieter at bar end, plus we will have volume control.

Price will be £20 per head max. I will phone tomorrow to find out when they need final numbers for food etc, and when we have a more accurate numbers list, I can work out the right cost - it WILL NOT be more than £20. If we end up paying more than is needed, then obviously I will buy a new dress divide it up and refund people OR put it behind the bar - whatever you think is best.

CD - am trying to find the little blurb about music that i found on the dust site earlier that made me go 'ooh, yes, that sounds good'

the bloke said its a real mix up of styles... hip-hop-funk-house-pop- - y'know, all sorts am just hoping its not too housey, what with it being saturday night. oh well, as long as they play billie jean at some point when we're dnacing, i'll be happy [hehe]

and room upstairs is ours, bar downstairs open to public but also available to us. so if upstairs gets too dull well behaved for us, we can bugger off downstairs and flail around wildly dance

One day i will come again. Not this year though apparently as dp is working and won't take kindly to a request to go and meet a 'bunch of strangers off the internet'.

Plus we're going up two weeks after for the first time in 2 and half years!

have I missed it - what time does it start? The reason being that my last train home is ridiculously early (11pm) so if it doesn't start til 9pm it's not really worth it for me. But if people start showing up before 8 then much more worth it. Am definitely interested in coming...

am seriously thinking of coming.Just have to check if i can get cheap flights from NI.
