ive bought my first xmas pressie yesterday...im sooo proud!!

blimey BLs I would be going into sweats now...lol I have all the trios wrapped and stored at PIL apart from dd1s bike which is next door. Also had the joyof her birthday this week so good job conservatory is finished as its living up to its playroom title already

im only getting the kids and my niece pressies this year as so skint...ill get my pressie next year but i dont mind.

First day of the School hols and I am still alive ... just!

DD has played on her DS for a good chunk of the day, so it kept her quiet! DS has watched TV on and off - so am I a bad lazy mother? We did go and see their cousin as well for a few hours this morning!!

Roll on tomorrow - girly day as DS goes to Childminders for last day of this year and DD and I are going swimming!!!!

Hope everyone has a loverly day tomorrow, and santa grings you all you wish for

DP came home last night, so I got my pressie 24 hours early

might have a little get together on the 2nd if you lot are up for it. the idea being to shift all the christmas choccie and be ready for some serious dieting starting 5th jan. Nothing too formal (is it ever??!!) come as you are and bring whatever you want the more the merrier.

s@2 - will that be in the day or night time??

it will be in the daytime BL and will carry on till everyone goes home ...no rules. not times, just come over in the atfernoon as i plan on having a hangover in the morning

and if you have any xmas grub left over that you desperatley want rid of then bring it along, otherwise bring yourselves..... it is just a v informal get together once hte fuss of xmas is over XX

We had the most relaxing one ever, even without Xmas dinner, did all our visiting by 2pm then chilled out for the rest of the day at home, consuming too much chocolate and wine.

All well here - just drowning in the sea of presents!! Both kiddies have birthdays in February, so have banned rellies from buying any more toys - requested summer clothes and PJ's!!

Hope all are well - we are going to Derbyshire with DH's brother and sister and their partners / kids - not sure whether we are looking forward to it or not, but..... Just done an online shop of food to take with us as sister is doing the catering and she eats crap!!

I am a Guitar Legend widow...made the mistake of getting it for DH for Chrimbo and since I am rubbish at it he's been getting all the glory! God help anyone who vists us on the next few days(months)! I'm good at the tennis, though! Needless to say we rarely play it! DD1 is great at the bowling! DD2 is terrified and won't go anywhere near it. Hates the man on the Guitar legends box, it seems! [ah bless emoticon]

Happy New Year to you all - we are off to a farmhouse in Derbyshire this evening when DH finished work - he says it will be at 5pm! I have sent him to work in my car and he has let me the Scenic so I can pack the car up, feed the kids and be ready to leave shortly after he gets in (make that at least an hour as he has packed no clothes and will need a shower and if I pack clothes I will put the wrong ones in)!!!
