Here is a fresh new thread

OP posts:
Biggogglyeyes · 22/10/2008 23:48

the reason why it was in bhead cos my dp's sis who lives in bhead was borrowing our car whilst her car was having a few things done at the garage over here (as it failed the MOT) where our car had gone now.

omeNofthefleshes · 23/10/2008 09:22

aww MD what a nightmare..if you need anything next week then give me a shout as G is home all week..

Browny fingers crossed that little miss decides to turn by monday..get that ironing board out

hope everyone else is ok..we are off on our jollies[well weekend away ad nowhere near as glamarous as stopping to haven tomorrow although dd2 has chosen today to start throwing up everywhere...just hoping it is a 24hr thing like dd1 had last week.

Biggogglyeyes · 23/10/2008 09:23

nemo - what are u getting for your bday? as i cant think what to get for myself as my head is a blur!!!

omeNofthefleshes · 23/10/2008 10:00

ermmm to be honest not really thought about it..only thing I have asked for is a lush blanket to snuggle up on the couch

omeNofthefleshes · 23/10/2008 10:01

to be honest I usually use any money I get from PIL and mother to pay my car tax as its always due the same week..lmao

Biggogglyeyes · 23/10/2008 19:13

ooh thats sounds lovely - a lush blanket to snuggle up on...i wont be needing Dp anymore!!

browny · 24/10/2008 17:10

MD - how's your ankle now? Are you managing to get around o.k.? .

Oh, Nemo, I saw some lovely, fluffy blankets in Costco today and they were really cheap!

MyDaggerling · 24/10/2008 18:34

Ankle is healing rapidly - I am amazed. Last time I did this I was on crutches for 3 weeks and couldn't drive for five weeks, however, now I am able to put some weight on it and I have discarded one of my crutches already. Still in a bit of pain but it is bearable. Hopefully i will be able to drive next week, I don't fancy being house bound for half term.

How you feeling Browny? Hope you are taking it easy

Nemo - I have an unopened bottle of alcohol free wine so i will bring it for you on your birthday.

andyrobo237 · 24/10/2008 21:08

MD - hope your ankle is getting better - not quite the same but when I had my leg op I was off the road for a week, and spent 5 days cooped up at home = but at least the DCs were at school and Childminders. I hope you manage to get out and about next week!

Nemo - hope you get a lovely cosy blanket for your Birthday - we have got one and the kids love snuggling up under it. We got a cheap one from Ikea for T as he is a messy boy!

We are off to London (ish) tomorrow for 3 days to visit my brother and his family (2 girls) - not sure the travelling will be fun, but hopefully they will sleep for some of the way!

Enjoy all your holidays - I dont think SA2 should be allowed to go to Egypt!!

Biggogglyeyes · 24/10/2008 21:39

browny - Do u want my medela electric breast pump for £35.00 inc P&P?? as i think i bought it too late...let me know xx

andy - have a lovely time in London..

browny · 24/10/2008 21:56

MD - so glad your ankle is healing fast and you're just on the one crutch now, hope it keeps on getting better this quickly for you.

Andy - hope you have a nice break with your family .

Biglips - could I let you know in a day or two about the pump, I've bid for one on ebay you see and I'm currently the winning bidder, so I'm committed to buy if no-one ups the bid. I am really interested in yours though, think it's a better pump than the one I've bid on. .

Jammy - hope you're o.k. .

Well, after a lot of nights not being able to sleep, I've spoken to my own midwife and my lovely doctor and I've decided not to have the ecv done this Monday.

My midwife and doctor seem to think baby is extended breech and is unable to lift her knees up into a ball in order for Consultant to turn her.. I'm constantly getting kicks really, really low down and her head is under my ribs so really uncomfortable. So, I'm going to clinic on Wednesday to pick a date for elective c-section, which is a million miles away from my much wanted homebirth, but I think it's safer all round and I feel a tiny bit better for knowing what will happen, you never know in the extra week she may turn herself .

Biggogglyeyes · 25/10/2008 09:17

ok thats fine browny as let me know...ok.

Well at least it wont be an emergency section though like you had with your first. Still fingers cross for baby to turn x x x x x x x x x

sweeneytodd · 25/10/2008 09:21

hi everyone

I am from outside Liverpool

Hows everyone doing?

MyDaggerling · 25/10/2008 11:19

Browny fingers still crossed that she might turn for you. If not elective section, although it is not what you wanted, will be the safest option.

Andy - have a good time
SA2 - I am Enjoy!

Hello Sweeny Where about are you?

gigglewitch · 26/10/2008 19:42

oooh, planned cs sounds much better Browny, but maybe you should spend the next week or so walking on your hands just in case

hi everybody, hope all doing well. Enjoy half-term, kids everywhere. Just another thing i feel I have to say... ...
Don't any of you dare send me any of your baby-vibes (seems to be much of it going on around here ) The three I already have is more than enough for me thanks very much. Actually i wonder if posting on this thread is wise at all as you all have either a lo or a bump

WhateverHappenedtoBabyJaamy · 26/10/2008 22:13

Hello Sweenytodd! Where are you?

Speak for yourself, GW! All baby vibes welcome here

Browny - planned def better than emergency cs...if it comes to that. Hope you are doing ok. I have a Medela Electric pump. Very good but a bit noisy.

MD - make good use of DH and it's about time DD1 started earning her keep!

Nemo and BL hope you and yours are all ok.

Very at SA2 walking like an Egyptian!

Sorry not been on for a while. Mad busy with work and now gone and lined myself up with business start-up course and putting together a business plan, etc. Ever wondered whether you've bitten off more than you can chew?

browny · 26/10/2008 22:20

Hi Jammy, you do sound like a very busy lady, good luck with sorting it all out . Which pump have you got? Was it the mini one or the expensive one (I think that's the one biglips is selling).

I'm sure little one hasn't turned, I'm getting kicks really low down under and either side of my bump and her head is so high up I have to stretch my back to breath properly, carrying this little one has been so much more uncomfortable than carrying the others, but not long to go now as everyone keeps reminding me!

Well, I'm off to bed, body clock's gone up the wall .

gigglewitch · 26/10/2008 23:13

good luck with them

omeNofthefleshes · 27/10/2008 10:41

Firstly before I forget does anyone want a family pass for drayton manor? Needs to be used by this weeekend but we arent able to go due to finances etc..

Browny planned CS sounds better as I know you were not very thrilled at idea of little miss being turned etc.

Jaamy busy bee you..hope everything is ok

hope everyone else is ok..we drove back from haven last night as while it was fab caravans of a night are blooming freezing despite numerous blankets..making for restless children

EisGotASeveredHeadinherHandbag · 27/10/2008 17:05

Biggogglyeyes · 27/10/2008 18:27

browny - mine is this one...Medela Swing electric pump.....well i wouldnt say it is completely silent but it does the job

TotalChaos · 27/10/2008 18:36

Hello all!

Nemo - we just did haven too (cheap sun hol by any chance) and yes the caravans were bloody parky! fortunately with it being the 3 of us, we could squeeze into the living room with the fire on most of the time (me and DS ended up sleeping on the sofa it was so cold). Despite the cold DS loved the caravan, didn't want to go home

omeNofthefleshes · 27/10/2008 18:39

TC which haven did you go to and when...probably at the same one this weekend..lol

TotalChaos · 27/10/2008 18:42

Haggerston Castle, up by Berwick. DH's choice LOL. I wasn't that impressed, theoretically it's 5 star and has a spa, golf and riding, but the pool was tiddly!

omeNofthefleshes · 27/10/2008 18:45

ohh no then..lol we only went to prestatyn
5 star sounds impressive but must be all the pools that are tiny..wouldnt like to have been in this one when summer was in full swing.
