Im a newbie, has this happened before then? Im a Yorkshire lass and would love to go on a picnic, do we have to bring the kids??

Do you think Waitrose would lend us that enormous picnic blanket?

How spooky Squonk, I was just thinking about last year's earlier today and wondering whether we would do one this year! Have name changed since last year but I was there with my food snaffling DS!!!

so, is that a yes then?

Shall we stick to the same location? (huge park in Leeds, for those that weren't there)

Anyone got any dates in mind?

Tropical World was a good place last year wasn't it? Are we thinking before schools break up or after?

Once schools break up I can do anyday, but only Thursday and Friday before the holidays!!!

Anyway, I think we should do it in the school holidays, we will potentially get more picnickers that way.

If you don't look like that (and I'm taking a wild, stab in the dark, guess that you don't ) then there may be a couple of us recognisable to each other, but hopefully there will be loads that we don't know... yet.

There are tons of us in Yorkshire now, and I think we should try and get as many mumsnetters as we can in one place and see if we can rival the Londoners their Christmas party. Whaddya reckon?

When do we all break up for summer? I have no idea and I'm a teacher
