Itsa - yes parking is free.

Are you coming on Wakefield Road? If so, when you get to Lidl, get into the RH lane and turn right just before the pub "The Aspley" and Aspley Wharf Marina, onto St Andrew's Rd. Go straight on at the traffic lights, (stadium entrance on your rhs, gas tower on your lhs) - further down there (towards Leeds Rd) a lot of the traffic turns left as you can't get out of St Andrew's Rd onto Leeds Rd, but carry straight on, and just before Jewsons (RHS), turn right. (There is a small white sign to The Zone).

If you're coming from Leeds Rd it would be second left after B&Q, Jewsons is there, then first left.

I'm sorry I'm working tomorrow.. I would've joined you!

Ha ha that looks clear as mud!

MmeCellophane · 16/03/2008 19:08

MmeCellophane · 16/03/2008 20:56

We try to play a board game or such with the DCs every Sunday. 'Tis fun! My friend is a teacher and I was sickened when she told me that some of her class NEVER play games at home .

It was Downfall tonight. DH got grumpy though cos he didn't realise he had to get 2 sets of counters down, and tried to claim victory after 1 lot came out. Bad loser .

'Twas fun, Fatzak, but possibly not quite as much fun as when we have friends round for Pictionary and Sambuca

MmeCellophane · 16/03/2008 20:59

'Tis? 'Twas? = 'Tw*t'?!

Mmm.. overuse of colloquialism, tut tut. Really should read my posts before adding them

fatzak · 16/03/2008 21:02

Mrs C!!!

MmeCellophane · 16/03/2008 21:20

Fret not. That's not a word I use in RL Not often, anyway

Lorn26 · 16/03/2008 21:40

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi, and it was nice to meet you on Friday. Will try and do it again sometime.
Oh- and Taylor is getting a tooth! Surely 2 months is a bit early? He's not a happy little fella at the mo.

MmeCellophane · 16/03/2008 21:52

Hi Lorn. Not spoken to you before!

hiccymapops · 17/03/2008 13:49

Hiya everyone

Hope you all had a good weekend

Went to Cheeky monkeys this morning, i'm soooooooo glad i went early. It got really busy. We didn't stay long though, Ben was being a paddypants. He's perfected the art of throwing himself onto the floor and kicking off every time i drag him away from the kitchen/toilets/fire extinguisher/putting peoples shoes on etc I'm going to have to do like that lady in the ad in the supermarket and start paddying first! He's teething really badly at the mo, and i think he's coming down with another cold Could have something to do with that very snotty little girl he kept following and cuddling last week

Hope everyone's okay

hiccymapops · 17/03/2008 13:50

Lorn, Ashton & Parsons teething powders are very good

hiccymapops · 17/03/2008 13:52

And Anbesol liquid, it soaks straight in, unlike gels. Right, i've finished now!

Phoenix · 17/03/2008 16:18

itsahardknocklife · 17/03/2008 18:37

Yeah we went to the Zone and it is impressive, but not great for Dennis - he is in the inbetweeny age where the small kiddy bit was boring after a while and the big kiddy bit was too big! It'll be great in a year or two though.
Didn't think much of the food, though, although it was reasonably priced.
The other people there were a bit posh and din't look to impressed with the South London Massive turning up. It seemed to be a load of poshos and WAGS - I felt somewhat out of place!!
Maybe I was a bit paranoid this morning...

Twigy · 17/03/2008 22:51

I thought you were a wag Itsa

itsahardknocklife · 18/03/2008 08:19

Well I am aware that I can come accross as a WAG, yes, but actually I am not. I know this may surprise you all.

fatzak · 18/03/2008 15:40

Didn't I spot you in Heat hanging out with Colleen itsa???

Must have been an odd day as over the weekend it was most def not wag-ish!! You must have been hanging out with all the yummy mummies

itsahardknocklife · 18/03/2008 15:47

Well you know, it's who you know and all that! I guess they knew I was going and wanted to hang out with me. I can't help being so cool you know!!

And yes, that was me in Heat. I do try to keep a low profile but it's not easy.

fatzak · 18/03/2008 16:05
Grin
MmeCellophane · 18/03/2008 19:01

Itsa, if you could bring yourself to hang out with the likes of me, how about LF this Thurs afternoon?

MmeCEggsandeateggs · 18/03/2008 19:06

Do let me know if you think of a better Easter name for me - this ain't great. I'm miffed that MN won't let me use a hyphen. Haven't they heard of double-barrelled Surnames?
