I've been housebound all day waiting for a delivery, and i've just got an email tonight telling me it'll be here next week! It would have made far too much sence for them to tell me earlier

Nah, we've got no plans for Easter. I did ask my parents to come up but they can't be arsed.

Dennis has got a cold too. Maybe it'll be the last one this winter

Just had DS parents' evening - went really well I have obviously been a wound up stressed out parent blowing things totally out of proportion, so feel much better now!! He just needs to sit still and to accept that he has to tidy up! He has lots of friends in the class - quite why the head decided to tell DH on Friday that he didn't play with the others I don't know, but his teacher says he is very sociable and mixes well with all the children in the class. He is making brilliant progress - he is working with the top half of the Year 1 children even though he is only in reception [proud mummy smiley] and just doing very well.

I hope I can now have a decent night's sleep for the first time in ages!!
We are going away next Tuesday to Holland for a week but will keep an eye on any meet ups.

You must be so relieved. lol, DS1 didn't like tidying up either - his Playgroup leader told me "he doesn't like tidy-up time, so he usually sits and makes a model, instead" !!!!

Off to Duinrell which is highly recommended by Mnetters. Sounds fab - on a lake, indoor pool complex and a theme park attached. We managed to get a really good deal as Easter is all over the place this year in terms of dates, so the Hull to Rotterdam crossing was reasonable - usually it's silly amounts of money.
