Hiya, sorry I haven't been around, my computer is in bits at my brother's house . Jammy, where is little A's party, will it be at the same place as Nemo's A? We'd love to come (just me, dd1 and ds2 if that's o.k.).

Ds2 has settled in really well at nursery, he loves it . I'm really missing him though and can't wait to scoop him up and hug him!

Hi All - thanks for good wishes for my mum.

Mum had surgery put off for another 24 hours to see how she gets on. Have been talking to DH all day about what I should do about work - my mum has the girls one day a week, otherwise with nursery fees it wouldn't be worth me going to work.

Have pretty much decided that I will have to give up work. So good news is that I will be available for meet ups every day of the week, not just Thurs/Fri . Bad news is that I'm not going to have any money to do anything . Bit sad cos I feel like I've not achieved anything with my career - I should be way ahead of where I am right now so that I shouldn't have to rely on mum to have the girls so that I can make a few pennies. Also don't like putting so much pressure on DH to earn. He's been in Taunton with work pretty much constantly for the past 3 months and now they're sending him up to Fife! At least he's seeing the world! And I'm going to get to spend every day with my beautiful DDs!

Anyway, sorry to moan on here - meet up isn't really the right place, will have to go start a conversation on the "How to put everything into perpective" threads

Nemo - was thinking of going somewhere like Farmer Ted's for A's birthday (had rearranged days at work so that I'd be off on the 10th) but might have to reassess now with funds going to be dropping very soon. Had you planned to do anything on the 10th for Adam? Fancy teaming up to entertain the troops?

Jaamy was actually going to say we are having a tiny tea party actually on As bday so was going to say if you want to bring your A aswell can turn it into mini tea party, just hate to think of you being alone especially if your mum is ill etc.Although will mention Farmer Teds to Dh and see what he says as e has booked the day off.

In terms of work would a childminder work out any cheaper? Although with all the stress it seems to have caused you lately I think you should take some you time out and spend it with the girls, soon enough they will be in school full time and you can return to work. I just know you have been really stressed lately etc and I hate to see you like that...not that I am looking for someone else with lots of free time or anything

just re read about farmer teds..just come here..we will let dc play and drink tea and eat cake..A has picked a power rangers one but will get another one for your A aswell..lol Will do banners and balloons and mkae a little fuss.
