Welcome fihi!!!
Another one in our neck of the woods! I'm in Whiston, BTW Fihi so I'm guessing I'm not very far from you at all. I work mon-wed and have 2 DDs - 3.5yo and nearly 2.
Biglips - you're not doing enough canvassing in north liverpool! Gonna send you out with a sandwich board !
Good news everyone - DD1 didn't cry when granny dropped her off at nursery school this morning But the private nursery are still botching up the dropping off thing On monday they forgot her coat and so she wasn't allowed to go out to play with the others Am due to give nursery a stern talking to tomorrow...wish me luck!
Nemo - deffo up for the 3rd Nov. Have you decided where you want to go? Ahhh, 30...I remember it well [fumbles around for walking stick and false teeth]
Biglips - count us in for the 6th, I think, will have to check with DH.

Browny · 20/09/2007 11:34

Fifi, welcome to our little gang... well if you're nuts having 3 children, what does having 4 make me? ?

Ds2 started nursery a week early on Monday, I stayed with him all morning, but instead of just concentrating on him, all the other little-ones were asking me to help them put on painting aprons and help them wash their hands, I was even playing referee to two little ones who were fighting of a plastic doll! Ds2 wasn't very impressed when one little girl took me by the hand and wanted me to play with her.

I stayed all morning on Tuesday too, but with the help of the teachers I decided to leave him yesterday. I told ds2 I had to go and buy him new slippers, apparently he asked for me a few times but was o.k. I felt so lost without him, we're hardly every apart, but guess I'll soon get used to it.

SunnyJaamy · 20/09/2007 12:26

Big hugs Browny! But it's great that DS2 seems to be settling in OK. Did you go and find a nice coffee shop to have a grown up capuccino?
And did DS2 get his slippers?

Just been to the dentist so half my face is numb. Been trying to eat what I thought was a rather tough sandwich until i realised that I've been chewing on my lip!. Hmmm, will have quite a sore mouth when the anaesthetic wears off!

biglips · 20/09/2007 12:58

awwww poor browny....i bet you wasnt ready to go in a week early??.....ive rcvd a letter yesterday from DD's preschool to say to bring DD in on wed 3rd oct to visit the place and to mean the other kids too. She keeps on asking "Going tmrw!"... aww.

they dont encourage you to stay at our one so took him in and pretty much left straight away !!!
he loves it though .. think he enjoys having time away from dd2.....

she is finally going full time in reception on monday after 2 weeks of taking her every morning at 9 and picking her up at 11.30.... and then this week having to put ds2 in at 12.30 !!!
bit fed up going up and down to school but will be worth it wen they r all settled

fihi · 20/09/2007 20:43

hi all
-yes lo is dec baby, her due date was xmas eve(!) but a wise girl from the off she wanted to be sure of separate presents and arrived on dec2nd instead.Had to ring work and say "sorry i won't be in 2day, had a baby..." omg nearly2 yrs where did that go?
Nemo -ta 4 invite, wud have loved but ds1 & 2 are already going to (separate)parties so hey ho mum's taxi is already booked.bggr. will have2 claim some nov dates now so no children with social lives can get there b4 me ;-)
DS2 was 4 last sat and has started school nursery class like lots of urs, but he's the tesco advert kid who's up at 7:30, uniform on, mithering every 10mins "mummy will u take me to school now?" by day 2 he didn't make a backwards glance(bye was my lot)and off he trotted. Two full weeks there and we reckon he must be running the place by now.
i'm off for a couple of wks at the mo but usually work mon to weds, with the odd thurs if there's a meeting on.

Nemo2007 · 20/09/2007 22:29

fihi bless..DD1 was due 23rd dec but born dec16th..however I was induced with all 3 of mine so semi got to pick due dates of the girls.

fihi · 21/09/2007 21:28

Nemo2007 · 23/09/2007 08:56

Tends to go through quiet patches, especially on weekends as people have older ones off school etc...unless you are a hardened addict

andyrobo237 · 24/09/2007 20:38
