Hi, Thursday is fine with me too, just have to make sure I'm home by 2.30 pm though for dd1 .

Browny · 06/09/2007 12:41

Biglips, meant to say thank you for your text .

SunnyJaamy · 06/09/2007 17:03

Hello,hello,hello!

Just jumped on the PC beore DH gets back tonite and hogs it again. DD1 is watching Nanny McPhee...again and DD2 is asleep. So I have a couple of minutes to myself.

How on earth is everyone? Sorry not been on MN lately. AS Nemo said, DH either away or working from home and PC has been moved up to spare room so I can't have a quick look while making dinner, dusting, etc. Very odd to actually be doing housework instead of surfing! Also trying to decorate and potty train, pretty much what everyone else has been doing so no excuse really for being absent. Hope you'll forgive me.

I would love to join you at grandmas on Thurs. DD1 at nursery (SCHOOL!!!) until 11.30 so should make it just before 12 for a nice lunch.

Can't wait to catch up with you all.x

PS - thanks for messages, texts and emails... Nice to be missed.

Browny · 06/09/2007 22:33

Jammy , you're little quirky posts have been greatly missed! Glad you are all o.k., was starting to worry . My ds2 is due to start nursery in a few weeks time, I don't know how he'll manage getting up early - he loves his bed still .

biglips · 06/09/2007 22:52

browny when does he starts? as mine starts on her bday week 1st - 5th october. I wish mine loves her bed at she is up @ 7 and no longer have naps since for the past 2 months now

HELP!!! ive got bags under my eyes

OP posts:
Browny · 07/09/2007 08:54

Biglips, he's due to start on the 23rd, he still has the occasional nap when he is very narky and he still asks to go to bed at his usual time , poor you getting up at 7am with an energetic toddler, I've been getting up at that time with dd1 now and it's killing me, think ds2 takes after his mum!

biglips · 07/09/2007 09:35

nah im telling a little fib!!...i do put her to bed but she plays in her bedroom half the time whilst i tidy up abit and chill out abit but ive noticed when i put her to bed at normal time 7pm - she gets so hypo when she had no sleep that i have to tell her to calm down. Prob need to put her into bed earlier about 6.30pm.

OP posts:
Nemo2007 · 07/09/2007 09:56

aww browny think he starts same day as Adam? A starts 24th sept which is the monday..lol
Just think if its bad now this time next year they all start properly then what will we do with our days!!! ?Nobody will be meeting up and I will be the only one loitering around..pmsl

BLS 7am start you should be relieved..mine are all up by 6am, thats not including the night time waking Hence I always look super haggard and stressed

biglips · 07/09/2007 10:03

i know....one of my friend with twins who are gonna be 3 in Dec had always been up since 5.30 and carry on all the way thru till bedtime!!!

So your A is startin primary next year? as mine will be starting hers a month before she turns 5 which it will be Sept 2009

OP posts:
Browny · 07/09/2007 10:56

Biglips, my dd2 was 5 on the day she started school , so that makes an extra year in nursery (which is now the Foundation stage). She is 10 now, but some of the kiddies in her class were only 9 in August .

Nemo... don't know about you but time just flies by when the kids are at school, by the time I've put washing on, hoovered and tidied up a bit it's time to collect them!

joec · 07/09/2007 13:50

hi everyone,

dd2 starts full time school on monday and ds2 starts school mursery on the 17th and as browny already knows i cant wait to have some time to myself after 12 years !!!!!

it was dd2's birthday yesterday , she is 5 now and a big girl so she keeps telling us...
she decided to make her birthday even more exciting by falling over and splitting her head open !!!!!
so a birthday trip to the hospital where they glued her poor head back together and put lots of steri strips on aswell .
looks like she is going to have a lovely black eye to go into school with !!!!!

biglips · 07/09/2007 20:21

oh hiya Joec - long time no hear (or see)... oh no about your DD2 bday party accident!! My DD had a front tooth missing on her 2nd birthday and she was called a "Toothless Fairy!!". (She had pushed her tooth back up to her gums when she fell over and hit her face on the baby walker 2 days before her bday party!! it came back down in jan but on a funny angle).

Aww seems to be all the LO's is starting school now but its no reason why we cant go down the slide at Grandmas when the LOs arent there

OP posts:
Nemo2007 · 07/09/2007 21:52

lol BLS I still have plenty of little ones in reserve for you to use the slide with

JoeC poor DD hope she is ok.

Browny · 07/09/2007 23:20

Joec, poor little E, sounds really nasty, poor little thing having to go to hospital on her birthday, bet you were worried sick about her - hope she recovers quickly (p.s. did you take a photo, or is that just me being really weird? I took a photo of my dd2 when she had her black eye, she was so proud of it .

SunnyJaamy · 08/09/2007 21:15

Joec - at least you'll remember DD's birthday, though probably for the wrong reasons. Hope not too sore and doesn't spoil her going to school.

Don't worry Nemo - I'll still meet up with you and your DDs with my DD2 when everyone else is at school. I'd better get started on DD3/DS1 though if I want a social life after DD2 hits school age!

My little bundles of joy are usually up before 7am. And if they do nap, it's never at the same time! And then it's rare for DD1 to be in bed before 9pm. No wonder DD3/DS1 hasn't appeared yet! Don't know how I'm going to get DD1 out to nursery on the days I'm not at work. I'll be up in good time but it takes me forever to get out the house.

DD1 starts Nursery school on Mon though as you know she's been going to nursery since she was 6mths old so I'm not expecting any big shocks. Went in to school for an hour or so on Thurs pm and had so much fun. DD2 came too and had a ball - the teacher said she can't wait to get her hands on her, but she'll have to wait a year or so...can't believe she's going to be 2 soon!

Looking forward to seeing you all on Thurs - you'll still be there at 12-ish, won't you??
