Yea! Yea! Yea! I'm much happier with this plan. And I think it will be cheaper.

If we found a pub in say Soho or chelsea then there would be lots of place for people to go to dinner and hotels.

Problem with this is, when we all get together at the pub, its not going to be set aside for us...so central london, saturday night, just before christmas, trying to share bar space with whoever else was there (if we even all get in).......

so can't we just book a room above a pub?
with a bar?
and disco?

Maybe...but they want to make their money remember so wouldn't they be looking to provide food as well?

But drinks are more profitable than food.

Personally I have no problem with the Hilton and its wine - my mate stays there every night and gets given a bottle of their wine every night and has given them to me to drink and they are keeping me sane whilst trying to sue my ex-employer. Thank you Hilton

It was mostly blank but taking up half the screen so the posts were all squished and whatever the ad is was a tiny little white box that was too small to read the writing.

ele - not a traitor just letting you know their wine is greatfully received at this present time!! I'll go along with whatever's arranged (although the 1st December is good for me). I used to arrange Christmas parties a long time ago and know how hard it is to get venues in December (even in the height of the Summer). And, before you ask, NO, I'm not doing it this time!

No atmosphere - went there one New years Eve. Oh and food wasn't brilliant.
