I'm not planning on getting slaughtered though so wine costs not much of an issue.

olive, the tube is v v v dirty so unless you wear an oxygen mask it goes up yer nose. hence black bogies.

I'm sceptical of anywhere who can't disclose complete wine list. The drinks sound pricey at Hilton. I think BBar with buffet and buy your own drinks will be cheaper.

I'm also worried about this single pot which is to pay for drinks. Who is going to take responsibility when the bill is £350 more than the pot? Certainly not me.

Ele, single pot is for the deposit (£20 per head). The questions is when and how do we pay the remaining £9.96 or whatever it is).. Surely it would be better to pay the full amount in one go, otherwise someone is going to have to chase everyone for the remaining funds on the evening which (as Custy can testify) is no barrel of fun.

I got an invitation this morning for an afternoon of passion next time i'm in hackney so maybe i could fit that in before or after..which venue would be more covenient
