Hi Islingtonians and those nearby: Aelita, Simi and I met up for the first time on Wednesday with our little ones, which was lovely. We're hoping to arrange another date very soon and would love to meet some more local mumsnetters - especially those with youngish babies (ours are 5-8 months).

Let's try and find a date that's convenient for as many people as possible this time. Post your availabiity / non-availability here and let's see what we can work out.

Mid-afternoon (3ish) works best for me - Weds, Thurs and Fridays are all good.

Posey -
Thank you very much. I will try them next week. Really looking forward to that.
Thanks again!

There's also a newish dropin on Thursday mornings in the bottom of the West library, too. (Basement).

Happybabymum - how will I know you?!! If you do go to either of the groups I'll almost certainly be there. I have a 22m old boy. Is your baby a girl or boy?

Cityjen - have you been to the group in the library basement? Any good? It used to clash with something else so I've never been.

cityjen · 17/10/2004 22:01

No, I've never been as Rhiana is in nursery that day. But I've seen a slew of buggies...

BTW, I'm changing my nickname as I don't want my former one + Mumsnet info showing up in Google searches. Too similar to the term I use in my professional life - don't really need the world to know my Mummy life!

Thanks,
JenniferP (formerly cityjen)

Hi Posey,
I have an 11 month-old baby. I didn't go this week to the Library, as it was nap time for the little one. I will try to go the Friday meeting. I will look for a mum with a 22 month-old boy!
See you, thanks again

Hi aelita, keren143 & minkey99 - great to see you yesterday!
Fiona & Simi, sorry you couldn't make it.

Hope to see you all soon - will let someone else organise the next one!

Hi Zinger,Karen and Aelita,
Nice to meet you all last week, Daisy finally stopped crying on our walk home! May try and go to the 2o'clock club Highbury this Thursday although it will probably be busy as its half term.Anyone else going?

Hello all -
I am currently looking to set up a new Business in the Islington area - the business will be an arts cafe, which I am hoping will be a great place for Mums and their children to meet - a place for mums to chat and catch up and kids to learn new arts skills and have a go with the art supplies on offer.
I am only in the market research stage at present, and would be very grateful if anyone had 20 minutes to fill in a short research questionairre on facilities and meet up spaces in the local area?
Help would be most gratefully received. Please let me know if this is of interest and I will message you the questionaiire.
