Jammy, you are definately wasted in that job you are doing, you should be writing for a trendy newspaper with whit like yours!. My three eldest are sleeping all together in ds1's bedroom, the girls refused to sleep in the loft because the thunder sounded really loud up there, can't say I blame them! Now the dog won't stop barking, she's scared too, dh has just been sent in to tell her off and she's just gone really quiet.... well, he comes in handy now and again .

joec · 20/06/2007 11:07

Happy birthday to my ds1 who is 9 today ....
he is the last of a long line of birthdays this month .
obviously i will be glad when this month is over so maybe now i will have a bit of money to spare !!!!!!

he has asked for money so he can buy a psp .. just hope he gets enough off everyone

Browny · 20/06/2007 14:24

"Happy Birthday to Joec's ds1" hope he has a great day and gets enough money for his psp!xxxx

SunnyJaamy · 21/06/2007 18:07

Happy Belated Birthday to Joec's DS1!!!

Did he get enough dosh???

Funny you should mention the newspaper thing, Browny. I write a 4-weekly newslatter for the sales teams at work. Keep trying to put wiity bits in it but my manager keeps editing them out. I just can't help it. My favourite one was..."There's always some confusion when a new model is introduced to the range - just think of the problems that Tom Cruise has with Nicole, Penelope and Katie - but just to remind you, here are the key features and benefits of the new model X..." Needless to say that one came straight out!!! They let me keep in the "Tap Dancing" headline forsomeone who had sold a lot of push taps in one particular contract. Well you've got to brighten up washroom equipment somehow!

Ho hum, there's a job out there for me somewhere!!

Hope everyone ok?

And while I remember has everyone filled in a form to support the Cockpit "Shakespeare North" project???

SunnyJaamy · 21/06/2007 18:08

Obviously I pay closer attention to my spelling and typing when I'm writing the Newslatter(sic)!!!!

Browny · 21/06/2007 22:20

Hi Jammy, pmsl at you trying your very best to lighten up the newsletter at work, only for the miserable gits to edit you out . What is the "Shakespeare North" project??? What have I missed?.

Everyone here is fine, ds2 has had his letter confirming his nursery place in September and I really don't want him to go, I'll miss him so much as he's such good company, he's a funny little fella, he has me laughing all the time.

Biglips and Stoppin what are you up to?

SunnyJaamy · 21/06/2007 22:55

Oooh Browny - you'll not know what to do with yourself when DS2 goes to nursery!!!! I bet you'll find some way to pass the time. Could it be time for no.5??? cheeky

Having my own trauma about DD1 and nursery school at the moment but too comlpicated to go into here. Maybe I can bore you all with it when we meet up...oi, I can hear you all scurrying off to start a meet up thread that I can't find!!

"The Cockpit" is a project to build a fantastic new Shakespeare venue in...wait for it...Prescot!!! It's gonna be a theatre/cinema and education centre with restaurant, cafe, museam, art, etc. It sounds fab but they need to get lottery funding first. Apparently Shakespeare used to visit Knowsley Hall and wrote and performed plays in Prescot for the Earl of Derby. Hard to believe I know but they have a 1 in 6 chance of getting funding and are asking for support.

Anyway, are we having a meet up or what?

BL are you down the gym again and have you take to the vino already Nemo? SA2 - c'mon you're good at organising! (LOL at "spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch", BTW!)

Maisiedaisy, BVVB, joec - are you all up for it? So far availabel dates are (assuming we're going for July and thurs, Fri, Sat, unless anyone would prefer otherwise)):

12th, 13th, 14th July
26th, 27th, 28th July
2nd, 3rd 4th Aug

Thoroughly expect this thread to go dead now, since that's what usually happens when I try to organise something! Go on...surprise me!

Night night x

Nemo2007 · 21/06/2007 23:19

Was actually on the vino last night..not a good idea..lol

Nemo2007 · 21/06/2007 23:20

actually browny your dreading DS going because I cant wait for A to go and neither can he..lol Funny that your DS2, A and J will all be in the same school year.

Browny · 22/06/2007 11:25

Jammy, very brave of you to actually post some dates for our meal . I can make 12th, 13th or 14th July, or 26th, 27th and 28th July, not sure about the August dates because dh is on his shutdown and we may be going away (hopefully). Right then, I'm going to keep this bumped so no-one has any excuse they can't find the thread .

Nemo, agree with you that it is a coincidence that we'll have kiddies in the same year, maybe they'll be able to help each other with homework in years to come .

Biglips · 22/06/2007 15:51

nemo - mine will be in her preschool this october - HOORAY!!! .... she had been telling everyone that she cant wait to go to school and to make friends as thats all she wants - to make friends!

are we gonna make an day or nite arrangement??

ive had the chop today (my hair) and now is jaw length hair and is the best decision EVER!! i LOVE it.... (its very similar to Kate Holmes new hair style)

Biglips · 22/06/2007 15:52

joec · 23/06/2007 11:23

SunnyJaamy · 23/06/2007 13:39

stoppinattwo · 23/06/2007 20:39

SunnyJaamy · 26/06/2007 07:26

Ok so what about [grabs bull by the horns] 27th or 28th July for a big girl's night out???

I'll leave the day time meet to SA2, since she started the thread - don't want to take over SA2!!

Browny · 26/06/2007 09:43

Jammy, sorry to be a pain in the , we may be away that weekend, kids and dh finish for the summer on the 20th July, we are hoping to be away for those first three weekends as it's the only time dh gets to have a holiday all year .

BVVB, lucky you moving within minutes of the school, my ds2 is due to start nursery there in September .

Boredveryverybored · 26/06/2007 10:05

Awwww you won't know what to do with yourself Browny!
You could come to mine for a cuppa when we've moved and watch him playing from mine
I am stupidly excited about moving so close, I hate the mornings and the walk up, less than a minute from front door to gate will be fanastic!

Browny · 26/06/2007 11:28

BVVB, I'll take you up on that offer, thank you! I'll be blubbering away into the cup though . Can't think where you are moving to and know you can't post it, I'll be walking around now looking for a house (is it a house?). .

Biglips · 26/06/2007 11:33

Jaamy or S@2 - im in for it!

Biglips · 26/06/2007 11:33
