BLs thanks for asking, the kitchen is coming along slowly but surely. DH is currently tiling but he is having to do bits on his days off or when he gets home etc. How did your painting go?

good but sssooooo slow on the painting. Gotta do the walls now as i had to do it properly the bathroom as ive got it all planned out (in my head!)..

ive not got a clue browny as its somewhere between the restaurant and my sils house (2 shops in between).. i dont remember for the life of me that i took it off!

did u have a fab time at flamingos land - where is it? as a few of my friends had gone there and its fab.

We went to Withersea Sands, humberside.... its was really good BUT everything was in schedule and there wasnt a park for the kids to play in. BUT it is in the middle of refurbishment as one of the regulars said that the playarea had gone (for now)

Biglips, you must be gutted about your ring, do you think it's worth putting an advertisement in the shops where you think you may have lost it?

Flamingoland was brilliant and was made even better by the fabulous weather we had all week. My eldest two just took themselves off to the fair (with their mobiles) early in the morning and we'd follow them on, they were that keen to get there. The rides were brilliant (although I wouldn't go on the big ones) so dh and dd's said and there were plenty of smaller rides for ds1 and ds2 too. The zoo was just the right size and there were quite a few pubs on site too. We only venturered out of Flamingoland on day 4 to go to Scarborough for the day... ds2 had his first ride on a donkey.

glad u had a fab time at flamingoland... as we are talking about going there next year.

Yes i will put an ad in this weekend in the lincoln paper etc. and also in Gumtree too

Hi, what's everyone been up to, it's been really quiet on here? I took my gang to Hoylake yesterday to see the Red Arrows at the beach, was a pita to get there though, had to get off at Moorfields then walk to James St., get ds2 out of pram and carry it up the stairs , I hate the escalator there.... it's so steep and long!

nightmare about escalators, thought there was a lift around there somewhere???I would be so stuck if I had to do that

We are all ok, decorating is in the final stages now have lovely laminate flooring right through downstairs which is sooo much better especially as C is into everything!! Kitchen is all tiled and done, just needs grouting and couple of faffy bits doing.

Nemo, glad you're decorating is almost done, I'd love to have my livingroom laminated, can you recommend anyone or where to buy it from, my carpet has definately seen better days!

oooh browny i was there yesterday too.....it was freezing!!. but fab air show. Was with my niece too. Both of the kids were howling the place down cos of the Red Arrows . Did u see the helicopters?

ive found Taskers are the cheapest by far and even the real wooden ones are fab!! - i want them!!!!!
