its on the wirral (New Brighton) from tmrw till sunday and its FREE.....ill try and do a link as cant do the new way yet....

Rain is a nightmare pity especially with that kite thing being on!!

Just got back from the Kite Festival in New Brighton, we got absolutely soaked walking back from the fair end of the prom to our car, the rain was just dripping off our faces, it didn't bother the kids at all though, they were busy eating their big giant red Feet Lollipops!

Had a lovely afternoon, despite the rain and even managed to fly our kite for a while. Ds2 loved the teddy bear kites, seahorse and dragson ones too . Oh well, I'm off to change into some dry clothes and dry my hair, hopefully we should all have a good nights sleep after all that freshair .

I can go to Grandmas on Wednesday too, but will have to pick the kiddies up from school .

browny - was there many there?? as we didnt bother but went to Europa Pools....had a fab time.....and now we are all shattered....Loved it esp the wave!!! ....cant wait to go again!

Well I did the carboot sale in St Helens today and despite the rain and a rather surreal experience of being in a huge queue at 5.30am on a sunday morning to still only get an outside pitch I made a whooping £125 but had to take £12 out for the pitch..am made up as never expected to make that..would have been happy with £50. So we should have enough for out new extractor fan in the kitchen.

Biglips, there were tonnes of people there, the kite stalls did some good business!

Nemo, don't envy you getting out of bed so early on a Sunday morning, you must have been determined to make some cash, well done!

We went to the kite festival on Sunday too. DDs loved the big ones, and DD1 made her own, which did actually fly. We got absolutely drenched walking back to the car too! We had to take the girls' trousers off in the car, and dry their legs with towels. I might come along to Grandma's if you do go tomorrow, and if you wouldn't mind, although could only go in the morning?

Hi Saggers, did you spot the mad couple laughing their heads off, pushing a pram with three kiddies following them eating huge lollipops? I can go tomorrow to Grandmas, what time are we thinking of? .

arggg dont think I can come to grandmas as need a courier to pick up parcel and typically its a wait in all day job!!

Is there a better day for Grandma's if Biglips and Nemo can't come tomorrow? I'd hate Browny to be stuck on her own with me, incase she didn't like me (or visa versa )!!

Saggers... good job I'm not easily offended!. I can't make it on Thursday, but Friday would be o.k. or any day next week apart from Tuesday as it's my ds1's birthday .

Friday would be excellent for me as Dh is home and taking out the rest of the kitchen so would be easier without the little fishes around!
