Hi Coco
Sorry I hardly ever seem to get a chance to post on here but my dd is having a sleep so I have a spare 5 mins to myself! Welcome to Exeter, we only moved here 5 months ago so still newbies, renting at mo but moving to St Leonards in June! Hope your move goes well!

Baysmum · 22/03/2007 17:26

Yes of course Coco - come along! A few newbies who have been renting are now moving to St L so its nice that its not as cliquey as when I first got here (poor me, sob sob etc)! Bump is fine but quite BIG, wasnt feeling much movement but the little bugger is making up for it now! Keep in touch and dont worry - you will be settled soon!

Coco4 · 22/03/2007 17:37

I didnt feel much movement with dd2, i was given a kick chart, but it wasnt as much as dd1, i wasnt worried and now i have a very chilled baby, good to hear more friendly mums coming to StLeonards, where abouts?

Hi coco! when are you moving? we are going to italy for quite long easter holidays, but hopefully see you after that!

fennel · 22/03/2007 17:40

greeny and I have posted on your other thread, just to confuse things. but i'm still around, not on holiday at all. though would like to be.

Tanzer · 22/03/2007 20:18

Hi Coco. We have just had an offer accepted on a house in St Leon so hopefully will be moving that way soon too. Only been in Exeter since the new year so still very new. Loving it so far though and been alot easier to meet people than I thought. I think you have really done the right thing in contacting people before you move. I did that and it really made it so much easier.
See you at St Le toddler group very soon :-)

Coco4 · 24/03/2007 09:18

Hi Tanzer, good to hear that your happy in Exeter and great to hear your moving to St Leonards, all new together! Where in St Leonards are you moving? I cant wait to move next wk but all this moving is so stressfull.Look fwd to meeting you and everyone else

Hi Coco, we are moving (fingers crossed!) to a house near Rivermead Road, off the Topsham Road. Just hoping my dd1 gets into the school now, find out on Friday !!! Where will you be ?

fennel · 27/03/2007 14:45

Which school is it Tanzer, St Leonard's?

I feel like such an old-timer on this thread, have been in Exeter a whole year now. This thread is the only place where I'm one of the oldies

franca70 · 27/03/2007 14:50

Coco4 · 27/03/2007 20:25

were moving to St Leonards rd, it leads to topsham rd, its so stressful waiting to find out whether your child gets into the school that you choose.Wait til secondary! my dd1 is 13 and all the good schools have a waiting list, so she will be commuting to Totnes, i hope the journey doesnt prove to be to much for her, good luck re school. Can anyone rec a good family docter in Ss Leonards?

OP posts:
fennel · 27/03/2007 20:39

My BIL is a good family doctor in St Leonard's. but I don't want to blow my somewhat shaky anonmyity by posting names. he's very nice though

Coco4 · 27/03/2007 21:00

Is that the practice in Denmark rd?

OP posts:
fennel · 27/03/2007 21:00

yes, the main St Leonard's practice.

franca70 · 27/03/2007 21:04

We go to st leonard's medical practice. I do recommend it.

Coco4 · 27/03/2007 22:06

Baysmum · 29/03/2007 17:17

Good luck with the move coco, let us know when you're settled in!

fennel · 29/03/2007 20:00

Are you packed yet? Are you going to be without internet connection for the next few months so we won't find out how the move went?

We should plan another evening out maybe after Coco4 arrives. When it's a bit less miserable out than tonight though, have just been in town and it was bitter and very wet.

Coco4 · 05/04/2007 22:04

Back on line, hello i live in Exeter now! move went well but we are all shattered, dd2 not sleeping well have been up every night since last fri and wont settle til she gets in 2 bed with me! what have i started.Im up for anything next week, park, soft play area, cant remember what that place is called, so if anyone wants too meet up let me know.
