Brighton Xmas meetup

Hi there everyone. I really want to get our Xmas meetup sorted as I'm sure places will get booked up soon.

So far we have suggested Sat 6th December and talked about Pub Du Vin.

When I looked at their menu it was £35 for lunch which I think is a bit pricey. How about we consider it for drinks afterwards instead?

I check out All Bar One and their xmas menu is £22 with some deal on wine. I know we've been there and done that but it does have a big space and it's very central.

I've had a look at some other 'more interesting' options but they're either evening only, too expensive or unable to take large bookings.

So, please send me any other suggestions to look into or vote for ABO and I'll let you all know if we need deposits

If you fancy coffee in town or something give me a shout, I need to get out. I've spent the three days I had off this week on the phone to CAB, Trading Standards and researching the legalities of this flipping car. Going to be that way next week too so need a break soon!

Ah cool, I'm free on Tuesdays at the moment, but without a car whilst we try sort out the shit tip we bought two weeks ago though :( Give me a week or so and I'll work out a way to pop over :) Fucking car

That'd be cool :) It probably would have to be week after next now, they are refusing to fix the fucking car so I think I'll be booking solicitors appointments for Monday and Tuesday :(

MABS are you still thinking about wine tasting at 10 green bottles?

The places I've already looked at that don't seem to work for us are: Little Bay, 64 degrees, Dirty Blonde and Cafe Rouge.

Pho is a good idea, Like Jamies but often very very busy. Actually no to Ten Green Botts as they full that day anyway, and I think one of the meals you suggesting be a better idea :)

Quick update: I've provisionally a table at Pho for 15-20 people on Saturday the 6th. They don't have their Xmas menus finalised yet which is annoying. I'll check again in a weeks time and when they're ready I'll let everyone know then we can make a final decision. Both Pho and ABO request £5 deposit per person.

I'd like to send out a PM to mners who might not know about this yet, please can you all list out people you can think of and I'll collate them and send them all a message.

Last thought is whether we should book a table for drinks later on. Maybe at Pub du Vin - does anyone fancy helping me out by giving them a call to see whether such a thing is possible?
