MrsD - 6.30 OK if I don't need to pick anyone else up. It takes 25 mins, but there's road works in Brenford.

Anyone else need a lift? (will text Nanoo me thinks)

Boowila · 19/10/2006 12:13

I think Yanks is also a confirmed cancellation (due to inlaws' arrival)

But, hey, I'm impressed that you've kept up with all the old names in spite of the abundance of festive versions.

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 12:15

would have been too much work retyping

Nanou1 · 19/10/2006 12:20

morning all. feeling better today. will join you tonight and reckon will head straight to ealing broadway to meet foxie and mrsbigd at work. mrsbigd...can you email me details of where and we'll meet there? thanks again all for cheering me up yesterday. x

Boowila · 19/10/2006 12:29

YIPPEE! Nanou is coming.

scarysuejonez · 19/10/2006 12:30

are you joining us on the grumpy table or will you with the happy people then Nanou?

Nanou1 · 19/10/2006 12:31

i'll sit in the middle

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 12:41

Nanou1 haven't got your email here at work but will text your mobile

SJ I hereby declare that there will be no such thing as a happy and grumpy corner. We shall all intersperse and mingle so that the 'happy' people can infect and cheer up the 'grumpy' people. Also I'm sure everybody has a fair share of moaning to do

pumpkinpud · 19/10/2006 12:48

So I'm not going to be the only happy person then ?

pumpkinpud · 19/10/2006 12:48

So I'm not going to be the only happy person then ?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 13:18

are you so happy you have to post twice?

I have no news yet re my potential new job, BUT I have just been given 2 free tickets to see the chinese circus on Monday!

pumpkinpud · 19/10/2006 13:22

Apparently so

Have they said when you should hear about the job by?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 13:30

when I had the interview they said Wednesday the latest Emailed them last night to enquire and just had a response saying they had a hectic week and they should be able to tell me Friday or Monday. So at least that's not a straigh forward 'unfortunately you have not been successful...'

foxinbubblesletsmaketrouble · 19/10/2006 13:36

What if I don't want to be "cheered up"?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 13:37

then we buy you a nice huge hot chocolate and an even bigger piece of chocolate cake

unhallowed · 19/10/2006 13:40

Foxie - your vit. E idea worked. I bought rosehip oil though as the shop I went to didn't have vit E oil. Girl at shop assured me rosehip oil had vit. A,C, and E. Anyway, it was your idea that put me on to it. Skin's still patchy but better.

FiziWhiziLetsGetScary · 19/10/2006 13:49

if it involves huge bits of chocolate cake then i don't want to be cheered up either!

altho i do admit to being marginally encouraged by solicitor meeting.

sfx, am interested to hear what happened to you on the work front. i had a major tanty on boss yesterday and he's now buying me lunch on monday to discuss further.

Boowilla, yes lets talk nannies. Mine may well be available 3 days exclusive and 2 days shared in New Year but that's all a bit vague at present.

FoxyBubbles, i wasn't sure i still loved dh either till someone pointed out that under the circumstances i must do otherwise he'd have been binned long since LOL. anyway, he's useful for driving to Fat Boys on a Friday night for my take away.

Anyone at kew this arvo? In case you know and spot my dd she hasn't been kidnapped, she's out with grandma!

ps: thanks for seat reservation MrsBe, what would we do without you?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 13:52

gladly facilitating reservastions LOL if you hadn't me...hmmm I'm sure Lemonaiiiii would take over 'hehehehe'

pumpkinpud · 19/10/2006 14:05

What about being cheered up and having chocolate cake? Does that work?

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 14:08

of course that works too, happy people will have to eat chocolate cake in solidarity to the grumpy people

MrsBeDreadingTrickOrTreat · 19/10/2006 14:10

btw now have place cards and name tags, be it in flimsy paper material because work ran out of laminator pockets. How dare they!?!
