it would be a nice gesture if those of you who have arranged to meet either at a station or other place beforehand across the country post who and where so other mnetters could join you when traveling/and or booking hotel room.

just a list like

mnetter 1,2,3,4 will be meeting at manchester piccadilly at 3pm to get the 3.30 train

or mnetters 5,6,7,8 are booking into this travelstay hotel

i can then re-post them on future threads.

what do you think?

Not exactly sure, but think either Bond Street or Marble Arch. Mapquest doesn't have an Orchard Street w1....

Uwila, sorry about this, but streetmap seems clearer!!

Basically we are going to Ruby lo's which is in Orchard street. This is next to Selfridges. Bond street is nearest tube.

Good areas to stay (quick, cheap cab) would be Queensway/Baywater/Paddington. Rooms under £30 a night if you share. Do share a cab/rooms etc.

mmm am interested but will have to work out train fares etc as dont want to drive from liverpool and will be 7mths pg. If can do it fairly resonably then will consider it

I am ok to use the train to get to London - it's the being in London alone & dealing with tubes etc that scares me!
Really hoping to be there, as there are loads of MN'ers going along that I would love to meet!
