Christmas Meet Up for all the Gin Hags (and Wine Witches and Vodka Vixens)

Righto, we're at that time of the year again where a Christmas Piss Up in London Town is needed. I propose a date a few weeks before so as many as possible can join in - how about Saturday 23rd November.

This has only been mooted last night, so I've not even got a venue as yet, but I have some ideas. I will, of course and usual, try to make it an easily get-to-able-near-a-traveldodgy place so that those that come into London can take advantage of cheapy rooms in advance.

So...please can y'all start putting names down so I have an idea of numbers initially and I'll get cracking with a venue in the next week or so. Further down the line I'll put the usual FB Group together (for those who are both on FB and happy to join) - I won't be posting the venue on MN as I'd prefer the hairy of hand not to know. Those not on FB I'll chat via PM near the time.

Very low-class thieves - they took my cash but didn't bother taking a John Lewis voucher or the 20 euro note!

(Purse was eventually found in pub toilet bin, Cat got a call from the pub and I got the purse back, but not til after I'd cancelled all my cards, because when I went in Sunday morning they said "no, it's not in the lost and found box" when actually it must have been found already)

Oh god how annoying and awful Trills!

I had my handbag stolen once from the local paddling pool from under the stroller while I was no more than 10 feet away helping DD "paddle". I'm still bitter.

Another east London bird signing up if that's ok. Hugely enjoyed last year despite the truly magnificent hangover the next day.
Will make an effort to remain soberish this year.
