Christmas Meet Up for all the Gin Hags (and Wine Witches and Vodka Vixens)

Righto, we're at that time of the year again where a Christmas Piss Up in London Town is needed. I propose a date a few weeks before so as many as possible can join in - how about Saturday 23rd November.

This has only been mooted last night, so I've not even got a venue as yet, but I have some ideas. I will, of course and usual, try to make it an easily get-to-able-near-a-traveldodgy place so that those that come into London can take advantage of cheapy rooms in advance.

So...please can y'all start putting names down so I have an idea of numbers initially and I'll get cracking with a venue in the next week or so. Further down the line I'll put the usual FB Group together (for those who are both on FB and happy to join) - I won't be posting the venue on MN as I'd prefer the hairy of hand not to know. Those not on FB I'll chat via PM near the time.

I've been to 2 - Christmas 2011 and Sept 2012. They were fab - I made some really good friends, Have you been to lots?

I'm a meet up virgin, failed to make the one in May, which I was a bit gutted about. Looking forward to this one, just mustn't chicken out!

Don't chicken out - at least half the people will never have been to one before, and everyone has gone there to meet new people. So everyone is super friendly.

Was the May one the afternoon one? I wanted to go to that, but was going to see Muse the next evening and DH was not up to be being away in LDN two days in a row

Barring illness or any last minute birthday party emergencies, I'll definitely be there this time. But will be avoiding Boris bikes, I'm lethal on bikes, to myself and anyone else in my vicinity

I don't think anyone will be on the bikes this year - or if they are it will be Annie alone. Not only did I nearly kill myself or break my 'puter, I grazed my shoulder quite badly and, to add insult to injury, the walkers actually got back before us any way. I think it was a one off
