Christmas Meet Up for all the Gin Hags (and Wine Witches and Vodka Vixens)

Righto, we're at that time of the year again where a Christmas Piss Up in London Town is needed. I propose a date a few weeks before so as many as possible can join in - how about Saturday 23rd November.

This has only been mooted last night, so I've not even got a venue as yet, but I have some ideas. I will, of course and usual, try to make it an easily get-to-able-near-a-traveldodgy place so that those that come into London can take advantage of cheapy rooms in advance.

So...please can y'all start putting names down so I have an idea of numbers initially and I'll get cracking with a venue in the next week or so. Further down the line I'll put the usual FB Group together (for those who are both on FB and happy to join) - I won't be posting the venue on MN as I'd prefer the hairy of hand not to know. Those not on FB I'll chat via PM near the time.

Gav & Porto your convo was interesting... I used to work for one of the Big 4 and DH might be about to. In my current job I'm the one with all the money and very few rules (we are firmly, staunchly, unabashedly private sector) and it rocks.

Course we're also a charity so the charity commissioners might disagree with my definition of "no rules"

I have just mentioned to DH that I may be going to another MN meet up. Clearly his memory is not as good as he thinks it is because he just said "Ok."

Calendar has been checked. And because I have no wish to be run down by a Boris Bike (my reputation would quite ruined) I am going to say yes, I'm a definite.

But I'm not staying in a Traveldodgy, no matter what lovely bin views it has or however beautifully appointed it is. So Annie, if you want to share a taxi home (visiting various establishments with loos en route), I'm yer woman.

Evening. I see this is coming along nicely. DH has been warned that I'll be away this weekend and I may return in the same sorry state as the last couple of times a delicate condition.
