Just to catch your attention.

I think Custy should scrap the original list and we will start again, so unless you say you are going, your name will not appear ok?

July 15th, Saturday, Tiger Tiger, Printworks, Manchester 6.30pm.

As this will have to be booked, please could you make sure you confirm asap. Custy's always organising stuff like this and I think it's very very good of her, so please just say yes or no then we know if it's worth continuing or else me and Custy are just gonna go on the piss together.

I know there will be last minute cancellations, babies ill, parents ill, stuff like that. That's fair enough, but if you can say now without iffing and butting, then please do so.

I'll say that I'm in.

thanks Rhubarb I shall be thinking of you all on the lash as I am sat at home !

Chloe55 · 26/05/2006 08:11

Are we eating at Tiger Tiger too?

Chloe55 · 01/06/2006 13:40

Just asking again if anyone else is thinking about getting a hotel? - I would like to book fairly soon and thought it would probably be wise if those stopping over shared the same hotel so we all had somebody to walk back with/get a taxi with etc.

dyzzidi · 02/06/2006 09:28

For those of ou who are thinking of getting a hotel. I wouldn't recommend the travel lodge at ancoats. I drove past there yesterday and I would NOT want to have to walk near there in the dark IYKWIM. The travel lodge at Blackfriars is better positioned .

dublindee · 02/06/2006 09:49

Would love to go but need to sort out how I'm gonna get there - It's the week after my birthday so could poss blackmail DP into getting me there - but dunno about getting back from it........ Spacecadet can I be really cheeky and ask how you're getting there as if memory serves me right - you live near me now (Ewloe Green). If you're driving I could pay for petrol.... that is, if you'll put up with me on way back?!

ky · 03/06/2006 17:55

Hi my name is Ky and I'm new 2 this site ( joined this w/e) anyway Rhubarb invited me to m/chester meet. I live in Chingford east london. Is anyone else going that perhaps I can go along with ( and share any expenses) car/staying over... tnx kyx

spacecadet · 03/06/2006 18:40

dublindee-you would be more than welcome to come with me both ways, im driving and dont fancy turning up on my own!

dublindee · 03/06/2006 20:26

Spacey you're a pet. >
DP will thank you for him not having to drive in a city (his idea of hell on earth - he really likes it when we go to Dublin and he has to drive!!!).
However I have to warn you, I have been to Manchester a grand total of ONCE in my life.
I have no clue of where anything is in the place so the phrase "blind leading the blind" springs to mind!!
Wanna meet up for a drink or something beforehand so there's no mad awkward silence in the car?

Or worse, my nervous gabbling that never stops and drives both me and everyone else demented! I'm grand in a group but one-on-one first encounters and I'm hopeless!

I'm at [email protected] if you want to arrange something cas.....
