As this will have to be booked, please could you make sure you confirm asap. Custy's always organising stuff like this and I think it's very very good of her, so please just say yes or no then we know if it's worth continuing or else me and Custy are just gonna go on the piss together.

I know there will be last minute cancellations, babies ill, parents ill, stuff like that. That's fair enough, but if you can say now without iffing and butting, then please do so.

Also, when I Googled Travelodge, it came up with lots of cheap hotel room sites so you may be able to get it cheaper.

But, yeah, £46 for 3 is ok.

Actually.... do has lots of friends in Oldham if we can get granny to sit the kids we could come voer together and he can go out wiht his mates...

what time are you planning on getting back which would allow your dp on going out?

We'd come without kids, he'd drop me off at the mercy of you lasses, then head off to his mates house, they have 3 billion kids so it will be a sit in for him I expect.

Hi All I am still coming.

I have not had a girly night out for ages. I am local so will just get a cab in/out. For what its worth i think the blackfriars travel lodge is closest to Tiger Tiger.

Custy, I think Mawdesley might be a bit too far to come back, the last train out of Manchester to Preston is about 10.30pm, probably have to change as there is no train to their village and will end up either getting a taxi or a lift to the farm. Might be easier stopping in central M/cr. Plus I'm going to be very unreliable. We fly back on the 12th, dh is driving to some Northern port the day after, getting a late night ferry over to England and making the journey back the next day, so he should be with us for Friday. But we have to allow for things like the van breaking down (clutch is due to go), police stopping him (no road tax as don't need it in France), etc etc. So whilst I will bloody well do my best to make sure I don't miss this night out, I can't give my honest word.

Is it ok if I invite my only sane family member, my sister, to come along? I can stay in her house you see if needs be. Or I might share a hotel room, as I don't want to leave early and miss all the fun!

But then I have no money. I'll give you a definite soon! (as definite as I can be)

Have taken myself off the list again - I can't come!! I keep re-appearing and Rhubarb, I hate horses full stop never mind horses heads!!

so rhuby is staying at her sisters..in Oldahm OO will be going back to Oldham as will piffle as will i probably. great for a taxi share.

dp has said he will be working that entire weekend as its before some great work exhibition thing which they require his balls nailed to the floor for the entire weekend type of thing (again might I add)
But I'll check with the PIL's and confirm sunday
I have tried to get to about 3 of these and always dp work puts the kibosh on it

Sounds like your dp doesn't want you to meet us for some reason!
