dates suggested- 17th Nov, 24th Nov or 1st Dec? Majority vote wins.

Where? Cocktails in Ebony in Durham from 7/7.30 ish then on to wherever can fit us in with an 8.30 booking within tottering distance from Ebony. My vote would be The Capital Grin.

It was really icy and the roads were dreadful, lots of people were late. I can't remember what date it was though Blush. They gave me one in March but I persuaded them to change it as ds2 was due in Feb so I was really very pregnant.

It was Feb 9th! I searched my messages on here!

You know this could be very useful for car sharing and expemsive text book sharing.....

No problem, Fives. Indith, that's weird! Also, that was what I was thinking! I went to college with a lovely girl starting in March + was a member of the fb page for September 2012/March 2013 starters until I deferred, but will bore you about it on Saturday, no doubt!

Oh I've just requested to join a FB group, I hadn't thought of looking for one. I've been getting jittery about the lack of info, I have NOTHING yet and I really need to know where I stand financially so I want to get the childcare grant applied for plus my childminder rather wants my start dates! I got the e-mail with the occupational health forms the other day so hoping the rest isn't far behind.

There was a thread on earlier about people feeling lonely and mention was made of a MN FB group for people looking for friends. I've joined and directed anyone from the NE this way.

Pants! Just realised that I have forgotten the advent calendars. It is like taking ds to his first nursery birthday party in tracksuit bottoms, having forgot it was supposed to be fancy dress, all over again!

Looking forward to tomorrow night. Ordering a taxi was definitely a good move, seeing as it is supposed to be -1000 or something!!!

I get one chance per year to dress up. I will be wearing what I'd wear mid summer and I will shiver :o in true north eastern fashion
Well ok I might add a big coat and gloves.

I'm getting 2 nights out Shock. DH volunteered to undertake child-wrangling duties so I can stay longer at the office Christmas do. Downside of working together is that only one of us can go to office parties at a time. I reckon he is trying to build up goodwill for something football related though...

I shall be wearing a party frock but sadly the heels will have to stay at home as I'm still hobbling. Fives- get enough cocktails inside you and you won't notice the cold Grin

1 sleep left!

I'm there for the long haul - just checked the calendar and I'd put I was out with you guys til 11.30pm on Sunday! So I hope you're ready for this [bwink]

Very happy to share with you SPB

was worried this morning - DD1 was up in the night being ill. I thought the curse of the MN meet up was upon me AGAIN. But she's perked up considerably, so I think I'm alright

night out #2 is next friday. Don't think I could cope with 2 nights in a row. I'm too old for that sort of malarky Grin

Hope DD1 gets better and doesn't give it to DD2.

Ds2 has given me his cold. Alcohol kills colds doesn't it?

well they use alcohol handwash in hospitals to kill germs. I'm sure mixing alcohol with fruit juice and taking it internally would be even more effective Grin

DS2 was up all sodding night with a cough and is now being very grumpy. I'm going to need a drink by 7pm...
