Hello hello! Here I am with good intentions to behave and show up to some meet ups since I utterly failed in 2011! Grin

So we need ideas for daytime meets and of course we must not forget our night time meets Wink

Daytime Ideas
Beamish
Saltwell Park, Gateshead
The Giants Den, Team Valley
Botanic Gardens
Beach (in the summer of course, unless we want airborne children!)

Okay so ideas for January daytime, I think cake is definitely in order so I propose the one that's next to Ebony, the huge place, down some steps, uhh... Slug & Lettuce is it? CAKE!

January night time? Is this something we want to plan? I know we're always poor after Christmas!

Default is Botanicals, but if weather is rubbish then Slug and Lettuce?

Definitely no more squishy newborns for me. Am enjoying night time snuggles with DD. DH is now starting to wonder when I am going to try and let her sleep in the cot all night instead of bringing her into bed with us when she wakes up when we go to bed. But I just love going to sleep with her cuddled up next to me, and waking up with her Smile

I'm up for Tuesday and if we're extra specially lucky Frozen and her pending squishy might be too.

oooh goody lots of people. Botanics with back up of the Slug sounds good.

We're going to need a new thread soon! Perhaps we should re-name Durham/North East meet ups and chat thread seeing as I we spend as much time discussing random rubbish very important things as arranging meet ups. Grin

I like the random rubbish :)

Ds now won't let go of my nipple. Teething is evil.

It is my wedding anniversary today. So far this evening I have painted woodwork upstairs while dh puts dd's furniture together. Then I washed up and ds2 woke up. Dh still doing furniture, I am feeding the baby and watching the opening ceremony.

Happy anniversary, Indith!

DD, thinks that my nipple is useful for climbing up me. Ouch.

waves at everyone. I do believe I ought to visit this thread more often as it seems like a good chit chat is ongoing.

I have had a brief nosy just now on places I've not visited in a long time eg. Chat and I was quickly reminded of why MN became tiresome. I put is partly down to my own mardy self but I just saw a thread and thought 'grow some' and then thought or are you trolling for sympathy? not fair of me at all.
Maybe i ought to go have a sit down / calm down in Flouncer's Corner. (have never opened that board yet.)
