South East Londoner's Christmas Curry Meet-up

All welcome - the usual suspects plus any newbies lurking in the wings! I thought a nice ruby out with the girls to mull over the Christmas shopping we'll all be doing by then would be a great idea.

So, how does Wednesday 14 or Monday 19 December sound? Can't do weekends in December what the social life of my 6 year old DD plus other Christmas festivities already planned.

Is there a nice curry house in Blackheath or Greenwich which would be pretty central?

So post if you want to come and give us a recommendation for a venue.

Think we have decided that Bexleyheath is the most central for most of us-not decided on the particular restaurant yet though.

Do you mind if I tag along too? I am a new mum in Woolwich. Have lived here for just over a year and am dying to meet some new faces in the area - especially mums like me! Hope to see you all soon...

I am going to have to cancel myself out of the Christmas curry meet-up. We've had to wade out loadsa money on the central heating that packed up recently and I can't really afford to go now, what with the general expense of Christmas.

Does someone want to take over organising this one?

Alrighty - I'll coordinate - we'll keep with Bexleyheath for the location but someone will have to help me with a good place to eat there as I'm not as familiar with that area. Someone give me a few names and I'll call to arrange a reservation... The list below are those so far who have mentioned coming - try to let me know by next Monday the 12th if you're for sure a yea or nay so I can make the reservation for close to the correct number. I'll plan to make it for Monday the 19th at 6pm... Let me know if that time works for everyone as well. I'm looking forward to this!

Jen - thanks for jumping in to co-ordinate. You're a star. I definitely still want to come. 6 is a bit early for me as DH doesn't normally get home until 7 at the earliest. Even if he can get home early that night I will still need to be at home until about that time to feed Jaz before she goes to bed (still breastfeeding). However, don't change it for me if this is good for everyone else, I'll just be a bit late. I'm sure I can trust you all to leave some food for me!!

6 is a bit early for me.
My mum will watch the children till husband gets back as she finishes work first. But as I'll have to rely on public transport in rush hour it's touch and go whether I'd make it much before 6:30.

Drop - FIL came home today - apparently not a heart attack but severe angina and chest pains - he has long history of heart trouble, 2 bypasses etc etc. Gave us a fright though AGAIN. Still, he came home today so that's good. I've CAT'd you.

No problem for a later time - can we go for 7pm? I also need to be home for ds's bedtime for the evening BF but can stretch it until probably 9-9:30 as dh is very good at winding him up in the evening. So, Hoges, me and piximon are for sure - anyone else??
