Biglips - fancy you making your own xmas pud - you clever thing!. I've done all my food shopping and pressies are wrapped! Just had a bit of an accident with a chocolate reindeer - should have gone in Sophie's stocking, but it's head got chopped off in my wardrobe door - so we've just shared it!! Yum!!

well my shopping came and ive got no beer in!! -arrgghhhhh! as it was out of stock (ive got mine which is baileys and dp like Krogenberg (sp?).. couldnt find a miniture croft so ened up getting a 750cl size - only wanted a capful of it to put it in my xmas pud ! (or i might tipple it in abit more than stated )

anyway gonna start on the pud!! - wish me luck!

sherry?? - uck!!!!- cant stand the taste of it as thats for the beef (marinating the beef with the ingredients and sherry) im gonna be bladdered after ive had my xmas dinner as sherry in beef and brandy in xmas pud (and brandy sauce) !!

Xmas pud - all done ! it was easy to do as i followed the recipe to make it!

god.. what a stressful day it had been!!. as i was all calm and relaxed when i went to pick up my beef and lamb for xmas ,came home adn the leccy wasnt on!!. checked the main switch but it wouldnt stay on, dp said that summat upstair that is plugged in is blowing the leccy out... in the end the electricity man came and found the fault - it was my stupid damn washing machine!! as it had clapped out, its full of clothes in it so im leaving it to dp when he comes home..

so tonite meeting up a couple of friends and get drunk (i think but it be quite late when im meeting them)

biglips - that's soooo weird about your leccy, as the same thing happened to us a couple of days ago! first time it was all the leccy apart from the light switches, second time it was just the washing machine.

We;re driving down to St.Albans tomorrow to spend Xmas with my best friend, husband and newborn (Dec 11th)!

didnt go out last nite as i think the stress hitted me and plus mate wanted to meet up at 9.30pm ish at this club which closes at 12, so it was really worth going but had a couple glasses of wine though and we watched Blade trinity - good film!

Hiya, just want to wish EVERYONE a very Happy Christmas, hope you all have a lovely day (not too stressed) and have a lovely 1st Christmas to the new babies born this year - take tonnes and tonnes of photographs!! My lot are SO excited, they've been pestering me to let them open the presents they got last night from dh's parents - I think I'll let them open one present each later on tonight - I'm taking them to a candle-lit carol service tonight - I just thought it would make Christmas extra special!

hiya everyone - hope you had a gud xmas day?.. i did as got good pressies off everone this year (wasnt impressed that DP forgotton my card!! so he printed one out for me at the last minute and it was so sweet )

Remember i mentioned that i made that Xmas pudding, well Dp, my mum and also Dps DD said it was gorgeous - it blew my head off abit! as so much brandy in it!! . (i followed the recipe - honest!). Mum said "Once you get over the inital shock... it tasted gorgeous" LOL!!!!

today is a tidy up day whilst Dp had gone a 24 hour boat fishing - good so he can keep out of my way with no distraction!!

my mum was on the phone and had just bought me a washing machine - awww sweet of her! as she living on her own and she only does a small washing about once a week so she said that when she is at mine, she can use the washing machine to wash her clothes.

Biglips - 12 hours is too long to go fishinglol! That was lovely of your mum to come to your rescue with a washing machine. We've been into town today, the kids had Xmas money that was burning holes in their pockets - but it was freeeeezing!!

Ds1 hasn't been too good, he's two back teeth coming through and there's a purple looking boil on his gum (can't get nhs emergency dentist to see him![shock[.

Hope you all had a lovely xmas day, I'm still trying to tidy up (well, sort of}.

browny - about that purple boil on DS2 gum was the same as my DD's gums as i took her to the docs and he said that the tooth was coming thru, but i couldnt see the tooth but about 2 weeks later the tooth came thru nad the purple boil disappeared

hello all

browny thats was brave to go to town today, we thought about going to trafford centre but ended up staying in instead..lol

BL lol at 12hrs fishing...how can he sit still so long?????? I would be sooo bored doing that.

hope everyone else is ok and had a lovely xmas. Ours was quiet and uneventful so pretty perfect really. Dh goes back to work on sunday which has got me a bit nervous dealing with a 2 yr old and a 2 wk old..lol Sure it will be fine though....i hope
