Indith - I have invited my friend M and her dd.

I might come for an hour actually if that's ok? Dp wants to go to the fairtrade shop for a bag for his dd. I could come and have a quick snack perhaps? Won't have dss as eldest is 13 he'll probably go with dp but he's no trouble if he does have to come? DS2 is at the Sunderland game with exdh. His school were doing a special with cheap tickets.

Yes it is the one on Elvet Bridge, will be lovely to meet you Since Kara's friend will have a small one we'll most likely be downstairs so you won't have to look too hard!

Indith I think you look a lot like dsd from what I can make out of the pic on here?(she's 22) except she is blonde. Is that Kara on her profile? Should I wear a carnation?

I do not look like a 22 year old, I am far more haggard. I have just noticed that my profile stil thinks I'm 24 though, I like that idea!

I think we'll be heading for bigger shops tomorrow, as DH has just admitted he ordered my present online (hmm) and it hasn't come (obviously), so don't think will be near Durham at lunchtime. Haven't finished my shopping yet! Had a whole day in Newcastle on Wednesday and STILL failed to finish it, mainly as had DD2 in pram and spent most of my time queuing for lifts that perfectly ably bodied people were using in preference to stairs/escalators....

Anyway have fun tomorrow!

Girls were meant to have a settling-in session at new nursery today but 'twas cancelled due to staff absence. We were all in the hallway about to leave when they rang - talk about anticlimax!

have fun girls, I would have come but I have a stinky cold and don't think I'd be popular if I infected the rest of you in time for Christmas Plus as its football today I'd have to bring the kids as well and I'm not sure I'm up to it!
