Media request: has your political allegiance shifted to Reform?

RhiannonEMumsnet · 05/01/2026 13:39

Hi there,

We've received the following media request.

Thanks,
MNHQ

I'd like to speak to women from Mumsnet whose political allegiances have changed to Reform in recent times. Ideally they would be willing to be named and pictured (in a piece for the Telegraph). Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.

This!

veryannoyedtbh · 05/01/2026 17:55

Nope

NeedForSpeedyGonzales · 05/01/2026 17:55

Absolutely fucking not 😂

ManManManManMan · 05/01/2026 17:55

No, they are fascists and incompetent to boot. And seem to be mainly failed Tories anyway. No thank you.

Nevermind17 · 05/01/2026 17:56

I’d display my bare arse on your front page before I’d consider ever voting Reform.

PipeOfPringles · 05/01/2026 17:56

No way.
And if any journo is getting information from "Reform" threads then consider how many people wouldn't even want to open such a thread let alone post in it.

Cherrycola4 · 05/01/2026 17:56

Embarrassing

Sunshineandoranges · 05/01/2026 17:58

No no no!

MeganM3 · 05/01/2026 17:58

No chance.

joeninetey · 05/01/2026 18:00

Yet another knee jerk reaction like all the rest. People only vote now for the least worse, not for the 'best'. How wrong we all were last time.

minskspies · 06/01/2026 08:30

I like Jill, and follow her on Twitter. If she''s reading - Jill I think the story here is the women who are politically homeless. As another poster on another thread about this said - surely people who don't want to vote Labour and are not keen on Reform would be registering a protest vote - in which case why is the 'other' line not increasing? Why do NONE of the political parties appeal to women now?

Rubywillgettheboardinghouse · 06/01/2026 08:34

Naw would eat my own poo than vote for Reform.

MrsKeats · 06/01/2026 08:44

As if.

LadyKenya · 06/01/2026 08:45

Never.

HopSpringsEternal · 06/01/2026 08:46

A lot of the Reform lovers here aren't women or actual voters. There are definitely some though sadly.

Firetreev · 06/01/2026 08:47

No, and I never will. Farage bears a huge responsibility for why the country is so screwed in the first place. Why on earth would I vote for him to finish the job?! Reform are a traitorous bunch of Putin and Trump sycophants. They call themselves patriots, but are nothing of the sort! They are charlatans, bigots and have a fair few morons amongst their ranks. Look at how they're performing in the councils they are running. They're not delivering, because they're incompetent fools who think all our problems can be solved with 'common sense' and have no understanding of the realities of governance. Furthermore, they claim to stand for reform and for change, but seem to be a party comprised of the nastiest and worst failed Tories!!

Enterthewolves · 06/01/2026 08:56

No, nope, no fucking way. Bunch of racist incompetents.

beigeybeige · 06/01/2026 08:56

We’re not idiots. At a massively unstable time globally why would anyone hand the keys of the UK to a professional moaner with no experience of running anything? Let alone him having a dangerous level of no principles at all.

Farage would instantly hand over decision making for the UK to whatever strongman from America, Russia or China would enrich him personally the most. Farage would love to be given that opportunity to give away our rights and livelihoods! Hope and pray he never gets it.

OVienna · 06/01/2026 09:04

No

MorphingintoMargo · 06/01/2026 09:08

I have voted for labour, the conservatives, Lib Dem’s and independents in the past. No real loyalty to any of them. I voted for the Lib Dem’s in the last election, to get the conservatives out (didn’t work in my constituency).

I don’t know who I will vote for next time, but it won’t be reform, I can guarantee that.

HellonHeels · 06/01/2026 09:10

They are a threat to a civil society. So no I would not vote for them.

I agree with this. I have no party that represents me.

WhosMadeline · 06/01/2026 09:12

Absolutely not. Never in a million years. Please pass our replies to the journalist and ask her to represent them MN.
Once more- NO & NEVER

DarkEyedSailor · 06/01/2026 09:13

Ugh. No.
