Hello there. Happy Weekend! How are things with you? Thought I'd check in....

I'm still managing to stick to Harcombe (mostly!!). I went out for dinner last night and had wine and birthday cake....😊 Still only eating between noon and 8pm though. Have managed to lose another pound so slow but steady.

Justchillaxing · 18/09/2017 12:14

Hi, sorry I haven't checked in for a while. I've been ashamed of what I've been eating...

Anyway now I'm feeling thoroughly rubbish after eating so much crap, my IBS is awful again so I'm going to try again. A lot of my eating is boredom eating or emotional eating or through habit ... I need to keep myself occupied with something else.

Justchillaxing · 18/09/2017 17:04

So .. back on track today!

L: bacon and eggs fried
D: roast chicken with veg
S: a few strawberries (not phase 1 but trying to be good to myself too.

honeyandginger48 · 18/09/2017 18:19

It's so hard breaking emotional eating habits.... and incredibly easy to slip back into them again. Well done for getting back on the wagon!
I've had a bit of a mixed day as I went out for lunch. The choices weren't great and I ended up having an avocado and hummus sandwich which came with fries....

Was peckish (and a bit fed up) when I got in from work so had 2 crumpets

Back on track for dinner though. Veg chilli and rice, NLY

Justchillaxing · 18/09/2017 22:09

It took me a long time to get back on track Blush I wish I could avoid all sugary or carby things and just eat like this. I wish the government would make them illegal! It would be much easier then ...

Justchillaxing · 19/09/2017 17:16

Last night I had the rest of the raspberries and a babybel cheese.

Today

L: bacon and eggs fried
D: will be the rest of the chicken not sure what to do with it, maybe I'll fry it up with some veg
S: NLY with strawberries, babybel, pork scratchings

honeyandginger48 · 19/09/2017 19:05

L: spinach & ricotta courgette 'lasagne', salad and coleslaw
Apple, NLY

D: Veggie sausage and lentil casserole with h/m flat bread

Really fighting the urge to eat chocolate tonight. Think it's the colder evenings. The only chocolate we have in the house at the moment is really cheap cooking stuff which is disgusting.... will try and resist!

Justchillaxing · 19/09/2017 19:55

Tell yourself you'll wait until you can have really nice chocolate Grin

Justchillaxing · 21/09/2017 16:59

I've had a couple of good days.

Yesterday
L: bacon and eggs
D: leftover chicken fried with peppers, added ratatouille out of the can and topped with grated cheese, melted under the grill
S: pork scratchings, NLY with strawberries, babybel

Today
L: bacon and eggs fried
D: will be 97% meat sausages with cauliflower cheese
S: NLY with strawberries, babybel

honeyandginger48 · 21/09/2017 19:21

Well done! The ratatouille cheese cheese dish sounds great... and I love cauliflower cheese.....

I've been good meal wise but seem to have got into a snack habit after work - together with a glass of wine in the evening - I blame bloody bread! I'm thinking of repeating phase 1 again starting on 1st Oct. Will persevere with phase 2 until then...

Yesterday
L:Cottage cheese and avocado salad
Apple and NLY
D:H/m hummus and flat bread with leftover veg saus and lentil casserole.
Wine....

Today
L:Feta, olive, tomato frittata with salad and coleslaw
NLY
SnackFrench bread....
D:h/m houmous, flat bread, beetroot and butternut squash salad
Wine.....

Justchillaxing · 21/09/2017 19:38

I love bread! I have to stay away from it completely, or I'll just keep eating ...

I don't miss alcohol most of the time, never was a big drinker.

Could you give me your recipe for frittata? I've never made one.

Justchillaxing · 22/09/2017 22:42

L: bacon and eggs fried
D: poached salmon with leftover tuna mayo, leftover ratatouille and cauliflower cheese (just cream and cheese)
S: babybel, NLY with strawberries
Coffee with cream when I went out

honeyandginger48 · 22/09/2017 23:15

Have just got in from a friend's birthday drink. Had a cocktail, a glass of wine and a sparkling water.

L: leftover frittata with, feta, butternut squash and beetroot salad
NLY
D: chickpea , potato and spinach curry with brown rice

..... and a flapjack.....

It's weigh day tomorrow. I doubt very much that I've lost anything this week!

The frittata is really easy. Just gently fry sliced onion in oil, add a sliced pepper and courgette and soften. Add 5 beaten eggs, olives, feta, baby tomatoes and herbs. Tip into a flan dish and then bake in the oven until cooked.

Justchillaxing · 23/09/2017 00:12

Sounds lovely, thanks!

Good luck for your weigh in. I'm not weighing at all because I just get obsessed with it and end up wallowing in chocolate. I'm going to go by how my clothes fit for now.

honeyandginger48 · 23/09/2017 13:59

Well done for managing to eat so well!

Weighed myself this morning and ..... drum roll.... no change!!

Not surprised as my recycling is full of empty wine bottles.😀

I've got family coming over for dinner tonight for a little celebration as my son is heading off to uni next weekend. Trying not to think about him leaving at the moment.. ☹️ But tonight will involve hopping off the Harcombe wagon (yet again!). Back on track tomorrow.

Justchillaxing · 23/09/2017 15:52

Better no change than putting on weight.

I had some pork scratchings and some coleslaw last night.

Justchillaxing · 25/09/2017 00:22

Today

L: bacon and eggs fried
D: hm chilli
S: small piece hm crustless quiche, babybel, a little coleslaw
Coffee with cream

honeyandginger48 · 25/09/2017 07:52

Yesterday was better than Saturday but still no where near perfect!

L: baked potato with h/m chilli and salsa
(Small piece of leftover guiness cake)😐
D: out at Wagamamas... chose tofu thai curry with rice
Beer

I have no excuses today - I'm not going out or having people round. Just work and home, so should be easy to follow Harcombe.

Justchillaxing · 26/09/2017 12:24

Yesterday

L: bacon and eggs fried
D: hm chilli
S: a piece of hm crustless quiche, NLY with strawberries, coffee with cream
