Oh god, sorry Athelstane!

I wasn't telling you to try again, I was telling me to try again, sorry!

BIWI · 26/12/2013 23:55

Pseudo - you should be fine, as long as you are getting your carbs from veg and salad, and you aren't depriving yourself of food. And you will be able to ask any question that you want to! I usually start a separate thread for questions, just because the main chat thread can move so quickly. But ask anything you want - and if you don't get an answer, just send me a PM

So you all know, once we have all your names, the lovely WilleWaggleDagger will set up the new spreadsheet, and you can all enter your starting weight, in the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness.

If you don't want to admit to your actual weight, you start with 100. And then for every pound you lose, you drop one point.

PseudoSanta · 27/12/2013 00:05

Thanks BIWI, when you say veg and salad does that mean I do the full bootcamp or do I add extra veggies in?

BIWI · 27/12/2013 00:08

Do the full Bootcamp, but just make sure that you are getting all/most of your carbs from vegetables and salad - i.e. the rest of your diet is unprocessed protein (meat/fish). Please don't worry about calories, and make sure that you're eating plenty of fat.

BIWI · 27/12/2013 00:09

You may want to consider starting with Bootcamp Light, rather than full on Bootcamp, i.e. you can allow yourself nuts/seeds and some berries.

Right! I will do this! Even if it does mean I have to buy some scales and face up to the blob that I have become...

Well, after nearly 9 years of putting off low-carbing, despite me knowing it works really well for me (damn those lovely potatoes!), I need to get back on the wagon. I am rubbish at keeping up with these things, but this has to be done, I'm as large as I was just after I had DD... so please get that big stick out, BIWI!

NotTwit · 27/12/2013 00:48

Count me in again. I reached my goal of 133 lb the week after the last Bootcamp finished so now I need to figure out whether to try and lose a bit more or to maintain.

PseudoSanta I started low carbing when my LO was seven months and still mainly breastfed so I started straight on to Bootcamp Light. I also took a supplement (Pregnacare Breastfeeding) as I had concerns that my nutritional status might suffer due to the demands of breastfeeding - he was feeding frequently at that point. The biggest problem I had was the carb flu hit me hard and I think that's because between dinner and breakfast I might have breastfed my LO three times so I recommend keeping a low carb snack such as some nuts on your bedside table for the first week and eating them before you even get out of bed.

NotTwit · 27/12/2013 09:10

Re the bfing I first did bootcamp when I was still pretty much ebf babyTwit. I was also taking the supplements and got really bad carb flu, but it didn't seem to affect my supply or quality, although he was about 6/7 months old so starting solids.
