New Year Low Carb Bootcamp starts on 13 January!

This is just to let you know that the next low carb Bootcamp will be starting on Monday 13 January. As before, it will last for 10 weeks, with the first two weeks being the strictest.

I'm joining up as well. I need to lose the baby weight, as well as the pre and post baby weight too.

Just wanted to post to say that I am really looking forward to starting tomorrow. Just had a roast dinner and knocked back a few glasses of wine and feel rather bloated and unpleasant.

Have got stuff for breakfast and have an online shop booked for delivery after school drop off tomorrow so off to browse the recipes to add ingredients to my delivery.

All my clothes feel too tight. Will be lovely to feel comfortable in them again.

Having low carbed before I know it works, but do struggle with the first week of it. So will be on this thread a lot for support.

thereinmadnesslies As far as I can recall, the peppered steaks are ok-ish. The other stuff is all coated in carby breadcrumbs.

I have made some decent curries with the chunks and the moussaka on the recipe thread using the mince instead of lamb.

thereinmadnesslies I'm vegetarian and I don't eat eggs. A few of us are chatting on this thread HERE do come and join us :)

I buy the Cauldron marinated tofu pieces & the quorn chicken style pieces (they are only 1g of carbs per 100g). I have occasionally bought the 'mince' but not when on Bootcamp. I try not to eat too much of them as I really don't think it's good for you, but, there comes a point where you have to eat something!

Was planning to start diet tomorrow (quite a bit to lose for a special holiday later in the year) and just happened to come across this thread whilst browsing for inspiration - couldn't be more perfect timing, no excuses now!! Have added myself to the spreadsheet (I think), thanks.

I'm in. I took the leap of faith this time last year - scary at first, but the flat stomach, weight loss and complete lack of IBS symptoms convinced me.

I've put on a couple of lbs, so it's time to measure myself (this in itself is pretty novel, I have gone for months without stepping on the scales).

I got some quorn 'chicken' deli slices today and they are 4.5g carbs per 100g, so slightly higher than it should be but I thought it might be ok with spinach cucumber and olives for lunch at work

Am i to late to join have really got to loose the weight this year.

Hello - would like to sign up and have added myself to the spreadsheet, I hope.

I did really well and lost a lot of weight on a previous low carb thread on mumsnet and then got pregnant and put it all back on and some for good measure. The "baby" is now a strapping 2yr old so it's more a case of losing the toddler weight.

TBH, am a bit overwhelmed by how much I have to lose so am going to think of it in 10lb chunks so I don't lose heart.

I've lost 3lbs this week (pretty much Bootcamped) but 8lb in total since I cut choc/crisps etc the week before.
