Morning all!

Apologies for the lateness of the new thread. I have a weekly online class which has shifted to first thing on a Monday morning, so I totally forgot to start the new thread Blush
Anyway, here we are.

Here's the spreadsheet

Hope everyone has seen good results this morning - and here's to a good week 5. Hopefully we're out of the doldrums that are weeks 3 & 4!

Any tips for emotional eating…..have had a really tough weekend for various reasons, coupled with not being well all week, I caved and ate some tiger bread with Irish stew today, feel bloated and disappointed now!

Cheese?
Bath?

@NoCarbsForMe well done on the new stone bracket 😃

Thank you!
I was very chuffed and actually very surprised.

I'm sorry you've been feeling bad.
I've been feeling ill this week too and had a piece of toast with my eggs yesterday!🙈

Toast is definitely the hardest thing for me. But to be honest I really thought about why it feels so hard and just felt fine about not eating it again.

I'm sure a bit of toast when you feel crappy won't ruin everything. Hope you feel better soon.

In his book 'The High Protein Diet' Dr Charles Clark does suggest a slice of wholemeal toast and/or an orange, daily. So I wouldn't worry about the odd one.

I'm an emotional eater too so I feel your pain. I tend to go for something creamy and spicy when I'm needing comfort food. Chicken/pork with broccoli and mushrooms (and other bootcamp friendly veg) in a spicy cream sauce is a favourite of mine.

However, I have also been trying to wean myself off the emotional eating because that's how I've gotten into this mess with my weight in the first place. Distraction is a good one. Get up and do something so you're not sat with your feelings convincing yourself you need to eat something to feel better.

Easier said than done though, I know 💐

Congratulations @NoCarbsForMe Flowers

Supper tonight was a great success: low carb turkey parmigiana ("breadcrumb" coating of flaxseed, ground almonds and Parmesan, with a teeny bit of mustard powder) - and a halloumi version for ds' veggie girlfriend. Mine was served with buttered mange touts while everyone else also had penne.

Followed by the orange and cardamom chocolate pots Smile
