Lots to catch up on: was zonked yesterday after a disturbed night
(ds being sick in the middle of the night and coming down to shower and then being called twice by an automated system saying "press 1 to accept, press 2 to decline"
- turns out we are key holders/nominated by some nearby friends for their alarm company - but they too didn't answer. Who would?) and then a tough Cross-fit session
@Random789 - I know what you mean about sweating and movement. People were always shocked that we cycled on holiday in Greece - yet it's cooler cycling with the air about you than it is to walk
I too am someone that loves being told I've lost weight à la Bridget Jones, but I've learnt via these threads to be sensitive about doing so to others.
Just to reassure you on the fat front: if you're properly fat adapted, the excess should be peeing away - your body recognises that you're supplying it with enough fuel and doesn't need to lay it down "just in case". Often if someone is stalling, the solution is to eat more fat!

@Skiphopbump - sorry to hear you're suffering. If/when you're able to come back maybe without a gall bladder
we'll be happy to see you. A friend of mine had a sudden gall stone attack while on a round-the-World cruise and left her gall bladder behind in Hawaii . Her sister has been suffering for a long time with a similar problem, yet is still waiting to be seen in Wales
@Stokey Hope you cope with the various temptations.
@Okaygoahead - well done on navigating the family party and the lemon drizzle cake
Slow and steady loss will do it too - that's what we all settle down to: 1-2lb/week, which is a healthy rate of loss.
@ListenLinda - it does instead sound like you're becoming fat adapted. @Baystard explains one important aspect. Another is that your hormones are now better in balance. Which comes together as your body using your fat for energy rather than laying it down.
@HappiDaze - your photos of your salads always look so colourful
@Lucienandjean - sales of FFGY at Lidl must be going through an upsurge!
@ItsAsIfWeWereThere That blue cheese salad sounds lovely. Good luck with your IF - now that I'm back on to it strictly, I find it really helps me deal with mindless/bored snacking
@Goodiewhemper - as I said to @Okaygoahead , we all settle down to 1-2lb a week which is a healthy rate of loss. If you've been in bed, your body will have been concentrating on recovery. Concentrate on your water now and counterintuitively your fat intake.
@YappyCamper - it's difficult when you don't have a kitchen but you know what you need to do and are doing it
@EvenmoreDetermined - lovely food choices
@Eanair23 - good luck with your triathlon. Do what you need to do to fuel yourself. Longer term there's a book called something like "The Art and Science of Low Carb Performance". Will check the details later.
@TheOnlyMrsW - new scales required!
@LadyBird1973 Although the Big Stick is twitching, I'll put it down again as you're recognising what happened.
Once you're on to Boot Camp Light, you can have the odd square of high cocoa content chocolate. I often like it just for the "snap". But even though I'm now on BootCamp Light, I still haven't felt the need to have a square. I'm taking that a win
