Morning all.

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for its last outing

I hope it’s been a successful experience for you all - and that the shorter Bootcamp has worked.

Good morning all. Am down half a pound this week, which isn't great but better than half a pound up! Quite a difficult weekend food wise so doing a final push until Christmas now.
Good luck to everyone weighing in today x

StuntNun · 13/12/2021 09:24

I wanted to eat all the carbs yesterday but today Auntie Flo has arrived four days early so that explains it.

BIWI · 13/12/2021 09:29

Sorry for brevity of the OP - I'm not well today so still in bed. (Not Covid!)

How you feel better soon x

prettybird · 13/12/2021 10:07

Sorry you're not feeling well @BIWI - hope you recover soon Thanks

H1Drangea · 13/12/2021 10:21

Hope you’re feeling better soon @BIWI
Stayed the same , I think I’ve only lost 3 lb this Bootcamp , but as unthread @Aderyn21 it’s better than putting weight on , which I find very easy
I like the shorter Bootcamp , because I have the attention span of a goldfish , short and sharp is best
I’ve pre ordered the new Michael Mosley book , should arrive in time for the post Christmas Bootcamp
Thanks @BIWI and everyone who helped with hints , info and recipes

TrueGrit54 · 13/12/2021 10:25

Hope you feel better soon BIWI. I am just dashing to my booster jab appointment. I’ve lost 12 lbs and very pleased with that. Will catch up on thread later.

Jollyholibobs · 13/12/2021 11:02

Sorry you are poorly @BIWI hope you feel better soon.

Well done everyone who has had success on this BC. I’m up significantly this week. I know why. Overall though I have list 4.6lbs this BC. Will keep on up to Christmas and beyond. Hope that those who want to keep going will keep posting on this thread.

Thanks for running bootcamp @BIWI it is such a great resource. And thanks to everyone who supports and joins in it’s such a positive way.

B black coffee
L green soup and cheese salad
D I am thinking chilli with lots of peppers in it and FLGV.

Thanks so much for running boot camp @BIWI, hope that you feel better soon.

My first boot camp been absolutely great. I've lost 10lbs over the last 7 weeks and have not felt deprived once. It has taken a bit more planning in terms of what to eat when out and about, but that has made me more mindful and careful about what I am putting into my body. I really feel that I have been looking after myself with this way of eating, and that is a nice change from other attempts to lose weight, which have been based on deprivation and all felt a bit sad (leading ultimately to spectacular falls off the wagon and binging).

Happy Christmas to everyone, thanks for all the advice and tips on the tread and congrats on all the losses. Look forward to a new boot camp in the new year.

prettybird · 13/12/2021 12:26

11st 11lb today, which is 12lb this Boot Camp. Not as much as I'd hoped (and not as much as last year), especially after a good initial whoosh but having Covid in the middle probably didn't help. But at least I'm under 12st - and there's still nearly 2 weeks to go Xmas Grin

BestIsWest · 13/12/2021 13:22

Sorry you’re not well BIWI.

No weighing but If I pull the tape extra tight then I lose another inch. This is SEVEN inches less than it was at it’s extra tightest last April. Still not much movement on the hips but I wore a dress on Saturday with my usually reliable ‘don’t fall down’ Snag tights - and they kept falling down.
It has been slow but steady progress. I am going to carry on because apart from the water it is so easy. I may start weighing in the New Year.

WildMaryBerriesWithBrandyCream · 13/12/2021 14:03

Wishing you well very soon BIWI - thank-you very much for this bootcamp. I've lost lots (and gained many other things).

kerkyra · 13/12/2021 16:05

Hope you feel better soon BIWI.
I've been super strict over the last two weeks and have lost half a pound.
Bought a pair of m&s jeans in a 12 and feeling good so am going to keep going.

mrshoho · 13/12/2021 17:23

Get better soon BIWI and thanks again for running this bootcamp. Flowers

ditavonteesed · 13/12/2021 17:40

@BIWI hope you feel better soon.
I am still on with maintaining so pleased with that all things considered.

Glentheredbeakbattleostrich · 13/12/2021 18:16

Feel better soon @BIWI and huge thanks for organising.

11lb off in 8 weeks, very happy with that. Looking forward to another one next year! Well done everyone 😁

ShagMeRiggins · 13/12/2021 18:29

I wrote the most amazing post—probably the best Bootcamp post ever— then, like an absolute dick, shut down Chrome on my phone so the draft was gone when I returned.

So sorry you’ve all missed my perfect words and wisdom... Grin

In the meantime, 7.8lbs lost this Bootcamp, 25.44% body weight lost since I started Bootcamp a while back, and for me this is a way of eating; marathon, not sprint.

Thanks to everyone. Not just the obvious, but absolutely everyone who has contributed to this thread. Flowers

venusandChristmars · 13/12/2021 18:40

@ShagMeRiggins I feel every wise word. Thank you Grin

Avoided brunch pancakes (opted for avocado instead) and about to have more avocado with mozzarella then salmon.

However, one of the guests yesterday has now tested positive for COVID. Much angst and testing amongst the rest of us!

Ha ha ha. Thanks. Wink

Also—OH NO! Damn. Wishing you the best, venus.

Andi2020 · 13/12/2021 20:20

@BIWI hope your better soon and thank you for running bootcamp 8lb down this bootcamp so plenty wiggle room over xmas as it's easier to put on than loose.
Had a couple of dinners out over the weekend so not much loss this week.
1lb off a new target so hopefully in the new year but end of next bootcamp I'm at 130 and maintain that.
Never thought at the beginning of April I would see a 9st on scales
Well done everyone and looking forward to next bootcamp.

Moanranger · 14/12/2021 08:30

Thank you BIWI for all your work & wisdom, & all other posters who shared trials & tribulations & recipes. I lost 8.5lbs over 6 weeks. I will now be careful, tho a bit more relaxed thru holidays, but then quite strict with myself come 1 Jan. we hope to be off to Canaries 21 Jan ( this is entirely in the lap of the COVID gods ATM) & I would like to be down a few lbs before we leave.
Get well soon BIWI & happy Christmas to all Smile

callow · 14/12/2021 08:36

Thank you for the Bootcamp, I lost 11lbs all together. I am carrying on with low carb over Christmas. I have made low carb sausage rolls, mince pies and a Christmas pudding so I will not be tempted.

pinknsparkly · 14/12/2021 09:12

Morning all! It seems my update from yesterday never actually posted...! I've STS this week, with a total weightloss of just under 3lb for this bootcamp. However, I've not been in a good place this bootcamp, so struggled to stick to it strictly and have also been terrible at remembering to drink water so I'm quite happy with my results.

When will the post-Christmas bootcamp be starting? And when does the sign up for that go?

Well done to everyone else that has lost!

Pleaseandthankyou · 14/12/2021 13:03

@biwi I hope you are feeling better. @venusandChristmars fingers crossed you escape. I am still feeling COVID effect 3 and a half weeks on. I can work as I am always on a lap top but I still can’t walk very far. My legs just go to jelly. Just looking forward to my DC coming home for Christmas. Any positive tests now and they won’t be able to travel .
The carbs are slipping in as I have given up cooking. Just can’t be bothered. I will be back on track after Christmas.

BIWI · 14/12/2021 14:56

Thanks for the good wishes everyone! I'm now back up and running.

Unlike @StuntNun I didn't resist All The Carbs, with the result that I had a horrible IBS flare-up. You'd think I'd know better after all this time.

Sorry to hear about Covid situation @venusandChristmars, and hope you'll escape unscathed. And very sorry to hear that you're still struggling @Pleaseandthankyou.

@pinknsparkly I'll probably start the next one some time around mid-January, so will do the start-up around the beginning of the month.
