Good evening!

Trying to get ahead of everything, as I know tomorrow will be a real rush with people signing up, etc.

Here's the spreadsheet with many thanks to the ever lovely @AthelstaneTheUnready for her sterling efforts

Hi de hi, campers (quite literally in my case, having spent the night in the tent last night and have madly agreed to do it again tonight. Food so far was:
breakfast, fasting
Lunch at about 2 pm after dog walking: sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and spinach. All cooked on the camping stove for the authentic experience 🙄.
Dinner will be tuna steaks and massive prawns, with salad.

BIWI · 30/05/2020 15:30

I think you're quite mad @ilovecherries Grin

Oh, and when I was allowed into the house to shower this morning - my argument being that camp sites have shower and toilet blocks - I thought my tummy looked much less bloated, and apparently I’ve lost 3.5 lbs this week. With the 4 I lost before bootcamp started, that’s a good start on the lockdown 12.

Puppermint · 30/05/2020 15:39

Thank you for the burger advice. Have gone for shallots, garlic, salt and pepper, Parmesan and oregano and added an egg, which I think might be where I normally go wrong. No Worcestershire sauce in so have given that a miss. Now chilling in the fridge (burgers, not me! Although... Grin )

Will report back later!

ShagMeRiggins · 30/05/2020 16:37

Hmmm. I didn’t want to cook at all tonight—too hot— it I’m suddenly hankering after a burger...

Really really need to up my water today, ack.

NumbsMet · 30/05/2020 16:39

@BrassicaBabe Grin woop woop! At nearly two they are amazing at climbing ANYTHING within the 2.5 seconds I ever need to run to the kitchen. I come back and they've found something new and assessing it like cavemen seeing fire for the first time 😂. I've heard they never stop fighting no matter how old they get, is that true?

Sounds like you've already done amazingly keeping in shape throughout everything, here's hoping you see that magic 9!! x

greengoose21b · 30/05/2020 17:03

@rshard I use berry tea from wherever I happen to be shopping. I think I've got Lidl's at the moment...but sometimes I have Tetley Boost or Clipper if I'm being posh. It's been a lifesaver for me doing the 16:8. I fill a cafetière with the stuff and sit at my desk chugging away all morning.

BeyondDreamsOfBeyondFourWalls · 30/05/2020 17:26

I have the tetley mint detox tea on the go at the moment. Cold, with ice and fresh mint from the garden. Like a bland, sugar free, alcohol free mojito 😂

BrassicaBabe · 30/05/2020 17:27

At nearly 2 you've still got 2 hour afternoon naps happening?! Peppa Pig is your friend? I remember the joy when they moved from Peppa to Ben and Holly because it's longer. And Nanny Plum is fucking hilarious!

Rshard · 30/05/2020 18:04

Thanks greengoose21b and BeyondDreams for the tea recommendations. I only have cherry at the moment so will try both next time I’m at the shops.

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 30/05/2020 18:21

Love reading all your posts, thank you all for all the updates, keep us inspired!

Doing mostly well here, still not enough water though. Mainly due to working alone with extremely few loo breaks!

Lovely omelette and salad the last 2 nights, have some gammon for today with loads of fat on it (straight from farm) so I can cut some off and use it to fry leeks, mushrooms etc. Been working so lunches have been snacks.

Finding IF much easier than I expected, especially as I’m always less hungry on this WOE. Manic day in work today, but even with this heat I felt more energetic and didn’t struggle nearly as much as I usually would 😁

Right, more water!

OnceUponAMidnightBeery · 30/05/2020 18:23

@Rshard cherry tea?! Oh please where do you get this and does it actually taste like cherries?

Puppermint · 30/05/2020 19:00

Well the burgers were a hit, in fact the whole BBQ was lovely. I had a burger with a bit of cheddar melted on top, an oriental type marinated chicken thigh, a LC sausage, home made coleslaw (with HM mayo too) and a delicious courgette, feta and mint salad from a recipe I found on one of the old BC threads. Was so nice and am now chilling with a glass of fizzy water with lemon and lime slices and a few sprigs of mint.

Lunch was halloumi salad and I've not calorie counted but all in all I think an ok day although possibly too much dairy

AthelstaneTheUnready · 30/05/2020 19:28

It's been 22 degrees here Shock

I'm not good with hot weather. Not At All. I've drunk all my water, eaten nothing but lettuce, but have blimped up massively. Stepped out into the sun and BLOOF, like a car's emergency airbag. Angry

Very virtuous day for the low carb, but possibly not so for the calories, because I'm too hot and not hungry. Let's just call it a IF window from lunchtime until tomorrow breakfast. Halo

bibliomania · 30/05/2020 19:32

Have just staggered home after wildly ambitious bike ride. Over-estimated fitness and embarked on 50-mile round trip. Luckily cut corner so maybe only. 45 miles. Took an appalling 8 hours, with many map-reading stops. Fuelled by Camembert and salad, salmon jerky and pork scratchings. Repulses by the thought of food and just want all the water.

TowandaForever · 30/05/2020 19:34

@Patapouf

Has anyone tried these?? They look like a nice snack to have on hand on BC ordinaire.
Where can you buy these?
Freetodowhatiwant · 30/05/2020 19:38

@bibliomania am very impressed with the 8 hour bike ride!

I’ve caved to a very small glass of red wine this evening. I know. Other than that I’ve stuck to 16:8 (probably more than sixteen really) and 1000 cal all week so I’m trying not to be too hard on myself. It was the last of a bottle and all we had so no temptation to have any more. Will leave it another week now.

bibliomania · 30/05/2020 19:54

Thanks Free, although it was meant to take about half that time!

devoncreamtea · 30/05/2020 20:27

Hello! Wow Bibliomania epic ride in the very hot sun! No wonder you’re thirsty!
Had an ok day here - food all fine, no lunch as predicted - not hungry. Went to beach and went swimming in some pretty intense on shore waves! Was great fun - but my cossie was FULL of little stones and sand! I looked like a beanbag 🤣
Not drunk enough water though - will have some more now.

bibliomania · 30/05/2020 20:46

Your swim sounds fab, devon.

MrsKoala · 30/05/2020 20:54

One of the downsides of wearing a face mask is that I am trapped with my own breath for the whole trip round Lidl. So not only is shopping at the moment even more shit than normal, but today it actually smelled of shit too! I’m not exaggerating when I say my breath smells like dog poo Shock What on earth is that all about?

I had a strange dream last night which I think is due to the painkillers as much as LC. I dreamed I was pregnant. The really strange part was that I wasn’t utterly horrified and was actually happy Shock I even continued to think it was real for while when I woke.

I’ve sat in the garden this afternoon enjoying the warm (about 23 here) but only had 4 cups of fruit tea. I struggle the most with the water consumption on this woe.

Today has been; yogurt, cheese, corned beef and salad, mousaka and Greek salad.

Im already getting excited about weighing on Monday! Woohoo. Grin

LostaraYil · 30/05/2020 20:57

I've been ridiculously tired today, my energy levels seem to go up and down every other day. I've been re-reading the thread to help me resist stealing some of DH's cider, it looks soo cold and golden and tempting! It's reassuring to see that I'm not the only one struggling with not drinking. I'm blown away by the exercise so many of you are doing, I only managed a 20min walk and a bit of yoga today.
B- frittata with bacon and veg
L-salad with avocado
D- chicken korma with cauliflower and broccoli.

1028 cal, 25g carbs.
I need to remember my magnesium and 5ht this evening, I could do with a decent sleep.

Rshard · 30/05/2020 21:17

They’re Taylor’s sour cherry onceupon, got a bit of a cherry cough sweet vibe to them.

Wow bibliomania that’s impressive!

1Wildheartsease · 30/05/2020 21:33

Missing my weekend drinks but sticking to lime slices and water.

IF is going well but I do get hungry; that last hour before brunch is very long!

Staying low on calories and carbs is working ...because I have reduced the dairy. I have been looking in Fast 800 recipes (portion sizes😁)

This is tough BIWI-but you are right that it is a great start.

Not weighing yet.

prettybird · 30/05/2020 21:52

My supper tonight: Worcestershire sauce hamburger, boerewors (left over from last night), green salad, tzatziki (all home made), plus asparagus & courgette. Yummy.
