Can you see it as an experiment? Q: what happens if I have a beer? A: it stalls weight loss (particularly beer as it has more carbs than other drinks) and it makes you more likely to eat off-plan.

I am soooo excited. This evening I am going for a walk with my adult daughter. Haven't seen her for 12 weeks and I so miss her beautiful company. Not yet seeing the grandchildren as I won't be able to resist giving them a bit of a squash and a squeeze
. For me that is the best way to avoid the temptation of a glass of red with my steak on a Friday evening (have to drive to meet her). Glass of wine or walk in the evening sunshine with dd - no competition!
